day one

The sun beamed down on your sleeping form. Signaling the start of your dreadful day, the start of senior year. You've been going to the school with the same bunch of kids for years and it was the same bullshit too. You could recall everyone by name at this point, or at least the kids that made themselves apparent in the small mountain town you called home. Although you had two pretty great friends. That made everything a bit more entertaining. Starting with Wendy. A bit of an unlikely pair to any normal person. You two met through your parents when you both started kindergarten. Which already sealed the deal on you two becoming best friends. Wendy was your beautiful and smart childhood friend. She was passionate and was a bit too emotional over her on and off boyfriend, Stan. You, were her rock of a friend. Artistic and somewhat beautiful yourself. Not as extroverted but just as charming.

And then there was Craig Tucker. Striking blue eyes and locks of raven hair, he was honestly a dreamboat of a boy besides his shitty attitude. You had a tiny crush on him in the 3rd grade, but that quickly passed after you got it out of your system. And by that, you might've pulled a Wendy and kissed Craig just like she had done with Cartman a bit before that. That somehow strengthened your odd relationship with him and you two became inseparable. Your phone suddenly buzzed. Speak of the devil.

'Am I picking you up? Or are you taking the bus?' The phone read. It was from Craig.

'You ask this everyday. Please pick me up.' You replied back, before throwing your phone down.

You lazily got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to tame your mess of hair and do the usual routine you had going for yourself. You dressed in somewhat cute clothes, there wasn't anyone new to impress since these were the same kids you've known all your life. And as soon as you walked back you saw the unread message Craig had left you.

'Thought maybe you'd get a real boyfriend to pick you up by the time senior year started. :-)'

You rolled your eyes with a small smile, typical. You shoved your phone in your pocket grabbing your backpack in the corner of your room before going out into the kitchen to see your Mom.

"(Y/N)! You got everything for today?" She hummed.

You nodded about to speak before you were interrupted with a rather loud honk.

"Craig's here. See you." You quickly said with a small wave. Your Mom waved back with a tiny smile before you practically hopped out the door and into Craig's car.

"Good morning sunshine!" You hummed causing the teen to groan and give you the finger in return.

"God I can't wait for you to actually make enough at that dumb fast food joint so I don't have to pick you up anymore." He commented.

"I actually think you'd miss my company." You replied.

"I see you at school anyways. Not seeing you in the morning wouldn't be that difficult." He shrugged.

"I still think you're lying, but I know you'd rather be picking up Tweek instead of me. Is that why you're so grumpy?"

"Shut up (Y/n)." He huffed.

You watched as his cheeks became a bit pink causing you to laugh. You two continued to talk about the rest of the gang and some of the things you both did over the summer. Since you guys didn't see each other everyday like usual. With Craig having a boyfriend, and you not being close enough to the other boys to hang out with them every day over summer break. There was some catching up to do. Not that you didn't see Craig at all of course. But landing a job over the summer also took up a lot of your time. Before you two could really continue you saw South Park High School come into view. The car parked and you crawled out of the hand me down with ease.
