Mermaid/Siren AU.

Mermaids and sirens had hated each other for the the longest time.
That's just how it was.
But maybe, just maybe, this could be different.
The siren's song echoes through the clear sky, and slightly audible underwater.
It was a beautiful and angelic song, but soon mermaids came to hate it, a sign of their enemies drawing near.
The siren was really trying to piss them off this time, wasn't she? Her shark tail stirring up water below her, as she sat in a rock that housed parts of a coral reef on it.
The woman noticed the water stirr slightly, but before she could get a better look, a spear nailed her right in the tail.
The shark-tailed siren let out a horrid shriek, as the dark, thick liquid spilled into the water, creating a red cloud. Her scarred hands grabbed a hold of the spear, and pulled it out, whimpering softly as tears stung her eyes and rolled down her delicate, yet scarred cheeks.
She laid unconscious, but unknown to the siren, her attack felt guilty, and fixed up her wounds.
