It was night in the Kingdom. But not the kind of night with stars. It was pitch black, and me, Gawain, Iggy, Olive, and my sister, Ninja, were huddling together, wrapped in blankets. It was so cold and dark!
"Hey, why is it so cold and dark?" Ninja asked sarcastically.
"Shut up!" I snapped. "There is clearly something wrong."
"Like the fact that the Kingdom is soon going to be in Twilight's clutches?" Gawain rolled his eyes. "Yeah, everybody knows that already, so um... AHEM."
"You don't have to be so rude!" Olive snapped. "Twilight is going to come find us if we don't stay quiet!"
Everybody fell silent in Twilight's mention. Of course, like in Harry Potter, nobody wanted to mention the villian's name.
"The Kingdom is going to fall apart soon," Iggy whispered. She was right. If we didn't do anything about it, we would fall into Twilight's hands. K, Gus, CC, Bishop, and Paint Guy were already possessed by her, and we heard that Pickleback narrowly escaped. We were sitting in the Quest Trunk, and Dee was cooking dinner for us.
"Poor KK crew," Dee said sadly. "Here's your chicken soup."
Even if Dee's cooking was horrible, we were thankful for something that warmed us up.
When we were done, Dee politely collected our plates when he let out a shriek.
There, outside of the Grand Glade Quest Truck, Twilight's black arms were reaching for us!
