This is not a Disney story

The fight

In fairy tales there are the good characters and the bad ones. That is what we are told from a very young age. But, like most things in fairy tales, it's not true.

Mary was good, and Jacob bad. Everyone knew that. Everyone also knew that they were destined to fight.

This story begins that day. Mary had been training for months, but as for Jacob, rumors said he hadn't trained once.

The fight was about to begin, Jacob and Mary were standing opposite each other. Masks and swords and all the rest of it. The fight hadn't begun yet.

"You won't fight me" said Jacob, not a bit of doubt in him.

"Everyone knows we were destined to fight" She assured.

"I don't" He denied.

All kinds of explanations were taking place in Mary's head, but none could prepare her for what was about to be revealed.

Spotlights were on, and darkness surrounded them, it was the cheering that gave them away. Everyone was there, everyone wanted to know how the fight would take place.

The sight Mary and Jacob, standing opposite each other silenced the public, all trying to find the best viewpoint.

Out in the spotlight a conversation was about to take place, for unexpectedly Jacob had begun to take of his mask, the thought in everyone's mind was; Is he going to surrender. To this, Mary commented:

"I thought you were smarter than that, I'm gonna fight you no matter how you look"

"That's where you're wrong"

Again, he had succeeded in taking away her voice. What was it? Why?

By now the mask was off, and his identity revealed. Mary stood there, confused until she worked out what it was. It was him. Of all the people it had to be him. 

Her legs began to tremble, but Jacob wasn't done.

"Missed me?" Said her brother, with a laugh.
