Past

Let's talk about Mary. Why would the sight of her brother have such an effect on her?

We're gonna have to dive deeper, to that truth she's trying so desperately to run away from.    

Her past.

Mary's father was an alcoholic. He'd return every night drunk, and attempt to beat Mary, luckily her mom was there to save her, or rather to sacrifice herself.

She was simply beautiful, and a hero.

The day came when she gave birth to Jacob, or rather Cole; and her mom didn't make it.

Cole did survive, but that only made Mary's life harder. In her three years of age, she had lost her mother, and had a brother to take care of. Now there was no longer anything god in her life, just fear.

She was mad, and it was Cole's fault, it was all Cole's fault. Soon she wasn't the only one who thought so. Every time she told her story it was slightly different, somewhat worse, but always  Cole's fault. A light had been removed from the planet and the guilty had to pay.

And later, Cole admitting guilt only made it worse.

So one day, he left. He stole the little left of his father's money and left. He was dead for everyone.

And now they were face to face, the truth hit her like a thousand stones.

Mary, the so called angel had created the devil.

Do you still believe in good and evil?
