Chapter 11: Charms

"Today marks two months of being at Hogwarts!" Moon said while nudging Star gently with her shoulder, her hands were full of books and her wand was balanced on top of it all.

"Amazing, today's Halloween as well! The time passes so quickly," Star exclaimed as she nudged Moon in the right direction up the stairs. "Next class is Charms right?"

"Yep Charms with the Gryffindors," Moon sighed unpleasantly.

Everyday, the Gryffindors seemed to hate the Slytherins even more. Some even refused to make eye contact with her and Star. Moon had to agree that most or the Slytherins were terrible to the rest of the houses, especially the Gryffindors.

Moon preferred to hangout with Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws though. She and a Ravenclaw managed to temporarily turn Draco's hair pink. Neither of the Malfoys seemed to enjoy their little prank.

Moon also befriended Fred and George Weasley. She was used as their gate way to pranking the Slytherins. With a help of a spell George told Moon, she mad Crabbe and Draco slow dance together in the hall way. She also made a colone of frogs appearance in the boy's dorm room. The also set Percy's robes on fire on several occasions, put a spell on his nails to make them have bright pink nail polish stuck on them for weeks and many others.

They walked into the classroom and took their normal spots. Today they were learning a spell to make objects float. The object they had today was a feather.

"Now, don't forget that nice wrist movement we've been practicing!" squeaked Professor Flitwick, perched on top of his pile of book like usual. "Swish and flisk, remember, swish and flick. And the magic words properly is very important to, too, never forget Wizard Barruffio who said 's' instead of 'f' and found himself on the floor with a buffalo on his chest."

Moon chuckled and mocked Flitwick, "Swish and flick! Don't forget to swish and flick! Star are you making sure to do this. Swish then flick not flisk then swish. This is so important! If you do this wrong you'll get a buffalo through your chest." Moon chuckled as she tried to preform the spell.

"You're saying it all wrong," Hermione snapped. "It's Wing-gar-dium Levi-o-sa, make the 'gar' nice and long."

Moon chuckled and nudged Star, "Swish, flick. Wing-gar-dium Levi-o-sa." Moon did it in her most mocking voice as her feather flew up a couple inches before landing back down when Moon freaked out that it actually worked. "Star did you see that? I did it!" Moon exclaimed with excitement but Star was busy watching Hermione lift her feather over four feet off of the table.

Moon groaned and slapped down her wand on to the table. She mumbled to herself before packing up for class. Moon quickly disappeared after the class was dismissed.

The next class for Slytherin started and Moon was no where to be seen. It was starting to concern Star.

Class continued on and no one really cared that the black haired female was missing. Star just told the teacher she hadn't been feeling well.

Right before class ended, Moon returned and snuck into her seat next to Star.

"Where were you?!" Star question in a hushed voice since class was still going on.

"I was doing things. . ." Moon mumbled to Star before flipping pages in her book to match Star's.

"Moon. . . You're acting pretty strange. . . Should I be concerned about you or someone else. . ." Star slowly asked Moon who made her best offended face.

"No you shouldn't, I didn't kill anyone this time, or turn their hair pink or something. Just had a talk with a certain person. Didn't go very well but I did," Moon chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck nervously.

"Is that so Miss Myer?" Star questioned Moon while getting in her face.

"Yes it is Miss Malfoy, and if you don't mind, I would like to leave soon to be able to get to the feast. Come on let's go we only have a couple classes left for today then we have a Halloween Feast!" Moon exclaimed, drool dripped down from her mouth.

"Okay then get a hold of yourself , we'll go," Star chuckled at her friend as they left the classroom.
