Phoenix & the Dragon

Chapter 4

It was morning I said by to the female who has been helping me she wished me good luck and I was off. The wind hiting my fire made it grow. The only thing that could have made this flight better is to have found him again so we could fly side by side. There was a tiny clearing I went down to it. I was exhausted from flying it was going to be getting dark soon. I need to make a nest. Out of no where a gust of wind came it reviled a brown bird with rufled feathers. My wings were short weak. A big female came out mouth open like she was going to eat me. I let out a growl of worry and a call for help. The female was shocked by me k kwing dragon she got even more mad than before. She picked me up she tossed me into a tree. The female Phoenix came and lit me up. I quicly changed to my dragon form she bowed/ crouched down to me I was three times her size. As soon as I growled at her she flew away. Tbe female Phoenix started sqwaking to me " I TOLD YOU NOT TO LET A DRAGON TAKE YOUR FIRE OUT..." I quite listening after a while and made a nest big enough for two. The nest was a pear shape with a hole in the side big enough to just squeeze in so we were protected from rain and wind or things that want to eat us. We fell asleep after we entered.

The male dragons p.o.v:

As I lay wondering if I should go back to the tree to see if shes ok. A loud roar of warning and crys for help are let out. It sounds like her could she really be... My thought trails off the tree only lets some live a second time. I stood up and shook off all the leaves stuck to my body. I started to walked to where I herd the noise it would take a while. Suddenly all the crys stopped only for a deep rumble of dominance got let out. I was now galloping at this point I could see a faint glow about two miles away from the female dragon covered in fire and the other female bowing down to her. I had a weird felling for the bigger female like I knew her somehow. I walked to the trees where the border of the opening was. I wached as the big dragon trnsform into a Phoenix another Phoenix came over and yelled at the other one. The one seemed to be a mute. I walked over to a hole in the ground that was at an angle. I layed down and fell asleep. The sun shone throught the trees into my eyes I woke up to find the Phoenix's still asleep. I went and found food for me and them. I know that one Phoenix is the femle that I fell in love with. My heart is pulling for her to be near me. I put a whole bunch of fruit and meat for them in the middle of the opening I put my sent to warn off other dragons. The first female was awake it wasn't her tho I huffed in disappointment. The female turned into a Griffin she darted into a tree. Thud i turned around just in time to see her pin me down. She was strong but, Inwas stronger I pushed her off she yelped as she hit a rock she turned back to Phoenix form. I picked her up her flames made my face turn black as I set her down she got up. She ran to the nest she was too sort she couldn't get up I walked over and put my wing down so she could run up and go back to the nest. Out of no where a giant dragon covered with fire she was two times bigger than me. She put her foot on me and held me down she bent her head down and looked into my eyes. We locked eyes for what felt like forever. It is her!

P.o.v female Phoenix / dragon:

I woke up to the smell of a dragon I don't think my phienix / Griffin friend can smell a dragon. I stayed up untill he fell asleep. I got out the nest to see what he was doing. I saw he was cold so I put my heat around him. The sun started to come out by now. I flew up to a thick tree to watch and see if he would leave us alone. He woke up she shook the leaves off before he walked off. Good I thought untill a few minutes later he came back with a bunch of food. The other Phoenix was now awake she flew out of the nest. The male tried to get a better view of her he broke a branch. The other phoenix turned into her Griffin form she dove into the trees where I was. She told me in a voice I could barely hear " dont move dint die" she hit the ground with a thud. She looked at him right as he turned around she pounced on him trying ti intimate him. He out of no where flung her she hit a rock with a yelp she trans formed back to a phoenix. He almost put her light out at this point I was ready to jump on him and hurt him! There was something about him that made me want to protect him. He walked over to her I could feel the fear she had when he picked her up and brought her near the nest. He set her down she ran to the nest he approached her again this time using a move known as the prey trap. You put a wing down and the prey walks up and you close your wings and crush the prey to death. My anger went up alot I turned into my big dragon from i approached him he looked at me as I pinned him down I brought my head down near his and I looked into his eyes it was him!
