My Sheild (Todoroki Shoto x reader)

Mic: Todoroki from class 1-A! He attacked and defended in one hit! How elegant! Amazing! Now he's following behind L/n from class 1-A!

You jumped up to the tallest robot and destroyed it, then turned mid-air so you could destroy the two you didn't kill

You: [Todoroki's getting closer I'm gonna have to speed up if I-]

Your whole world froze as Todoroki ran up next to you, his attention clear and evident on his face 

You: [His ice! He's gonna freeze me!]

Just as you predicted, he held his ice covered arm out towards you, but before he could shoot his ice you smacked his arm away

You: Sorry Todoroki!

While he was still shocked by the sudden movement you kicked him in the stomach and continued to run

You: I hope I didn't kick to hard...

Bakugo suddenly flew ahead of you with his explosions, but as if on instinct you grabbed his leg, tugged him down and kicked him back over to where the robots were

You: Um *sweatdrop* I need to learn how to hold back...

You ran ahead with a smile but stopped when you saw large gaps in the ground

Mic: Hey, Hey! The first barriers a piece of cake? Then what about the second?

You: No! I'm not good at jumping!

Mic: If you fall you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl! It's "The Fall!"

You: Hilarious! 

You took a few steps back as you noticed other students getting closer

You: As if I'll lose like this!

You ran and jumped to the closest pillar and started using your quirk to quickly slide on the ropes

You: Thank goodness! My shield is actually keeping me steady!

You managed to get to the other side but Todoroki and Bakugo were getting close

Mic: And now the leader of the pack is easily getting through first!

You: Those two are getting close, better speed up!

You started owning up to the name "One-second runner" and left puffs of dust behind you

You: Huh? What does that sign say?

As you ran you squinted your eyes so you could read

You: Danger...whoa!

You stopped once you realized what that sign said

Mic: And now we've quickly arrived at the final barrier!

You: The final! Great

Mic: The reality here is...that's it's a minefield

You: A minefield!?

Mic: It's set up so that you can tell where the mines are if you look carefully! So you have to exploit your eyes and legs! By the way, these landmines are for games so they're not that powerful, but they're loud and flashy enough to make you wet your pants!

You: Okay, this should be easy

You heard running behind you making you turn and see Todoroki with the same stone-cold face, running in close

You: It's Todoroki again

You started running on the field blowing up some mines as you went but you used your shield to protect yourself and blow up the mines around Todoroki
