A New Beginning

Chapter one

Leaving her moms funeral, 14 year old Julie wants a new beginning. Her dad died last year from a heart attack and her mom died yesterday when Julie was in Tokyo. She got the call while she was in the mall and she got the next flight home. Her mom died so unexpectedly, that the doctors didn't know what happened. Julie felt like a rock sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Down,down,down

Now that Julie was done at the funeral, she headed to the rink, the only place she can forget everything and focus on her favorite game. Hockey. As soon as she got to the rink,she headed in the change room to get changed and play the sport she adored. It was tryouts for the triple a hockey team. She sprinted out of the change room, and then she saw him.

The moment she saw him she knew. She knew she wanted to know him. He was hot like the hottest day of July. he said "hey" and her heart melted.

She got on the ice but she could not stop staring at him. he was tall, blonde and solid in skates. Another bonus was that he played hockey. Although she was supposed to be focused on hockey, she could not help it. He was hot. And he kept looking at her.

After the try outs, he spoke to her. She asked him what his name was and he replied, Noah. He asked her to go see Annabelle with him. She hated scary movies but she went anyways because Julie knew she would just stare at him the whole time anyways.

That night the list of the team would be posted at the rink and Julie and Noah decided to go see it together. Promising each other they would not get frustrated if they didn't make it, they headed off to the rink.
