Jungkook carries Yoongi back to his room. Once he is placed on the top of the mattress, the doctor examines his knees again. It is not that bad but it needs cleaning or else Yoongi might get infection from the open wound.

"I'll wake him up if you couldn't," Jungkook says, already tapping on Yoongi's shoulder. Yoongi stirs up a little but not completely. He changes his position but goes to sleep again after doing so.

A lazy smile blooms on Jungkook's face when Yoongi snuggles even deeper into the blanket. At this rate, Jungkook will just let Yoongi sleeps. But he needs to wake him up, Jungkook knows better than anyone how an infected wound feels like.

"Hey, wake up," the younger whispers. "Wake up," louder.

Yoongi yawns, feeling the sleep drifting away slowly. When the image in front of him starts to become clearer, the last person Yoongi expects to see is Jungkook. On top of that, the younger is smiling, a small and relax one.

"Seokjin needs to clean your wound. Wake up," Jungkook instructs and Yoongi nods. He totally forgets he is having bleeding knees. The thought of the wound also reminds him of something.

"Kitty?" he asks, voice still weak from his sob.

"Downstairs. Namjoon is trying to find a box for her," Jungkook replies. Yoongi feels guilty of having the thought that Jungkook might kick her out.

He wants to keep the kitten. He wants her so bad. But Jimin or Namjoon or Jungkook or Seokjin or anyone in the office might not like her. "Can- Can I, erm- Kitty, can I-" Yoongi stutters. He hides himself under the blanket while asking, afraid that Jungkook will reject him.

"Yes, you can," Jungkook allows. Jeon fucking Jungkook allows Yoongi to have the cat, and Kim Seokjin is awed by his action. "Make sure she eats enough and stay warm," the younger adds. Jungkook doesn't know whether he is talking about the kitten or Yoongi in general.

"Thank you, Jungkook-a! Thank you!" Yoongi launches himself on Jungkook. While still partly sitting on the bed, he slides through the younger's arms and hugs him on his waist, nuzzling his nose to the fabric Jungkook is wearing.

Jungkook can't breathe. He is rooted to his place. This is the most skinship he has received in so long. Of course, he has a lot of bro hugs with Namjoon, Jimin and the doctor or some colleagues he trusts, but this is the hug of affection and he receives it from someone who he knows for barely one month.

But Jungkook wants to hug back. He has raised his arms midair. He wants to hug back. He longs to feel the affectionate touch again.

Jungkook looks at Seokjin, who is smiling at him. He shoots the doctor a questioning looks, the one that says, Can I? And Seokjin nods, mouthing a 'Go ahead.' Jungkook slowly closers his arms and wraps them around Yoongi's head. The younger feels a sudden hitch from Yoongi but he quickly sinks in Jungkook's touch.

Yoongi's grip tightens. "Jungkook- a, thank you. Thank you," he muffles against Jungkook's shirt. Yoongi is cold but his heart is warm. Jungkook is warm but his heart is cold. With the embrace, they complete each other.

"I'm so sorry but I need to clean your knee, Yoongi," Seokjin says, walking closer to the two. The doctor knows that no one is going to let go if he doesn't interrupt. Seokjin swears he could see sadness in Jungkook's face after he says that.

"A little longer," Yoongi begs. "Please." Jungkook smiles, at least the feeling is mutual.

Jungkook is the first one to pull back. From his strong grip, the younger could feel that Yoongi still does not want to let go. He gently taps on Yoongi's arms cueing him to separate himself from Jungkook.
