Hey, I'm ellie Soo. yes yes yes, I'm self aware I am not the only girl who's been single for this long. Now i understand what you are thinking, it's not a bad thing. But let me explain you my whole story, like one of those 'story of my life' videos.
Now that I'm off to college living in a apartment splitting rent with a roommate, life shouldn't be half as bad! I can be free to exploring. I never had a boyfriend or any major crushes, so romance is kinda a big thing for me. I'm just hoping I can find my future boyfriend through the process of college. So sit back and let me explain how I met my future boyfriend & how to handle your love life like a pro...well not exactly like a pro.

May 26th, 2019 —

* rinnngggg — the phone rings

"Yes mom?" I answered the phone in a calm tone.
"Ellie! Now you on your own & don't obey my rules now, that don't mean you be crazy and act like a fool! — " I sighed knowing this phone call is going to consist of her nagging me half the time "– So listen, that doesn't mean you can't have boys over or whatever, you can do anything you want since you on your own now. Make sure you behave and act civilized! I did not raise you to be dumb & act like that. Now that you are free to date don't act out! Please don't give away your virginity out like it's candy okay. Just know you are lucky, I got you this deal, Because you know too damn well you can't pay off the rent by yourself so make sure you never forget to be on time with yo bills. Be nice to your roommate okay!"
"yes, mom I know oh my gooooooodddd. You had already done told me this all on—"
"Okay bye have fun be good." She interrupted me and hanged up.
She's such a typical fob asian mom I swear. I set my phone down on the kitchen counter, pacing back and forth. Biting my nails.
I wonder when I'll meet my roommate...
I waited in the living room, keeping myself busy. Like watching tv, hoping there's a good variety show on, or playing on my phone. As time past, I realized that my roommate won't be coming home anytime soon. I then decided to finish unpacking my things & hopefully I'll meet her tomorrow. I mean maybe she's at work? Or she's with friends.
I decided to not overthink this situation & continue with my doings.

May 27th, 2019 —

I woke up in good mood. First night a success. I do my morning stretches and wash up and get ready for the day. When I finished it was only 10:30 am. I headed out into the living room and made my way through the kitchen and slightly glanced at the door, maybe to see if there were another pair of shoes next to mine? But what I had hoped didn't come true. So maybe I'll meet her at noon? I continued my morning making breakfast for myself. Then back into my room to take a slight nap.
Right when I hopped into bed...the front door unlocked! I jumped and I'm not gonna lie I was excited to meet my roommate, this person is practically..well might end up being my bestfriend, who knows. I just hope she isn't a bitch...
I got up and headed to the living room.
"hello! You must be my roo–"
"Who the hell are you? How did you get into my house?!" This strange guy gave me the most dirtiest look ever...I have never been so disrespected ever in my life. When I tell you I was lowkey shook. I was.
"Huh? I'm sorry? I think you must have a misunderstanding. I live–" I began speaking very softly
"No lady I think you the one who got a misunderstanding." He bluntly said as he interrupted me.

This is when I realized that the she I been referring my roommate to is actually an He...

"Uhm excuse me. I have been speaking very politely to you & you just met me! How can you treat your own roommate like shit! Didn't your mother raise you to respect others!" I was livid. I tried to hold it in. I'm not a bitch unless It is needed & this is the time when it's needed
"Ahhhhh, I get it now!" He sparked as he looked like something came up into his head.
"You are the person that I'm splitting my rent with. Ohhhh~ That's right, I completely forgot. What the fuck, I didn't know you were coming today..." He added
"What the..how do you forget something like that? I'm confused...you're supposed to be a girl! Mom didn't say I was gonna be roommates with the son of satan for goodness sake!" I whined as I began to massage my temple.
"Hey! I am not the son of satan, stop being dramatic and get over it. I'm actually kinda happy you're a girl...this is gonna be exciting." He gave a mischievous smile.

"Hey! You owe me an apology!" I yelled
"You owe me one too lady! You just disrespected me." His eyes glared straight at me.
"Like you wasn't rude to me first! Girl bye." I snapped back.
"Alright fair enough. sorry. Now let's move past this since we're going to be roommates. I'm jeon jungkook. Pleasure to meet you." He smiled and held his hand out.
"Apology accepted..Soo Ellie." I rolled my eyes as I reached my hand out and griped his hand.
"Awe. Look at that You look so much cuter when you're not angry and talking." He gave me a cute eye smile as he patted my head.
I became flustered and highly embarrassed
"Hey! Don't t-touch me!" I stepped back from him and put my hand in front of my face..to hide from embarrassment.

There's no way I can live with him, bruh I hardly even interact with guys in general, what the fuck. Mom didn't even tell me it was gonna be a guy.

"I'm going to take a nap now, wake me at 5?" He said as he walked down the hall to his room.

I took a deep breath and headed to my room.
Why do I feel like this is going to be a disaster?

hi guys :') it might be boring right now but it will get better like chapter 3. I'm trying to make this story not as cringe, I've made a couple of fanfictions back in the day that I've looked back and realized how fucking like cringe worthy I was...so I'm trying to make this fanfic not as cringe ( even tho some might think otherwise ) and not like every other fan fiction that have the super fan girl type of vibe. I'm trying to make it just a lil realistic/2019 slang stuff and not like an "OpPa SaRANGha3" type shit. No offense! lmaoooo. It's like the main character reading this as her point of view/reading it to the audience type of view kinda.
