Half Past Forever

Chapter 1-

Acacia-

"Lets take a walk, Poochie!" I said as we walked out the door. It must be about 5:45 because it isn't fully light out. And i still see the moon a little. Each mailbox we pass, Poochie tries to pee on it. Sometimes poop.

"Poochie! Come on!" I screeched. Poochie ignored me.

"Ohhhkay then."

It's not too hot out. Just a little breezy. I run my fingers through my smooth, soft, long hair. I think ive been walking for a long time because each step I take, i feel a sharp pain in my leg.

"its 6:48 already? Poochie, we need to head back home!" But she just kept walking along the sidewalk.

We started walking back into my garage, and my moms car was'nt there. My dads isnt either because well, he died when i was 7.

My mom left me a crumpled up note that said i dont have school today.

I go up too my room and find twenty dollars laying on my bed.

"Guess mom left some money. Panera it is." I mumbled under my breath. I ran downstairs, found my shoes, and got in the car.

Sam-

Well here I am. Friday morning. No school. Nothing to do. I could call Josie, we could go to Panera or something.

I reach in my pocket for my brand new iPhone 5.

"Hey, baby!"

"Hey babe!"

"Wanna get some Panera?"

"Umm, sure. Be there in ten. bye!"

"See you then." I replied.

I got in my car and drove to Panera to find that Josie had already beat me there.

"What do you want?" I said turning to Josie.

"Uh macaroni and cheese!"

"Okay."

"Can i please have a Bacon Turkey Bravo? Thank you!" The girl in front of me in such a familiar voice. It was Acacia. The most beautiful girl at school.

"Sam! Hey! I didnt expect to see you here!"

"Yeah, well i didnt either, so."

"Well okay. Sorry. Nice seeing you. I guess."

Acacia-

"What a pleasant boy." I mumbled through my teeth.

I grabbed my food and grabbed a booth.

I couldnt help but keep looking at Sam ad Josie. I admit it. I have a little crush. But with my luck, i wont ever get with him.

I constantly check my phone. But im not sure why.

When i finished eating, I saw that the side of my car got a scratch. I sit in my cold car for a while until i saw Sam and Josie walk out. I turned my car on and drove out of the parking lot.

Sam-

"You can be a jerk, Sam. You know that? A real jerk!"

"I would care, but I dont because I know youll come crawling back to me."

"And I would care. If I was still dating you. But im not. So I dont." Josie barked as she slammed her car door.

"Look at that. Not even halfway through the day and things are getting bad.

Acacia-

As I drove off, I blasted Carly Rae Jepson's new album Kiss through the car speakers. I kept feeling a sharp pain in my head, but i just ignored it. I turned off the music and stayed quiet.
