A Lovely Catch (Pony x Reader) [Akame Ga Kill Zero]

Ch. 1: Kill the Circus

Hey everyone! The reason I am doing Akame Ga Kill Zero x Reader first is because I have the manga for it. For anyone wondering, I usually follow manga storyline instead of the anime. Here's chapter one!

You watched the circus from the crowd with the 5'1" girl with her brown hair tied into a long ponytail. You felt her shake every once in a while, which concerned you.

"You okay Pony?" you ask her, to which she looks up and smiles.
"Yeah, just a little nervous, going on our first mission and all. I'm more excited than nervous though"

You rub her head, like a brother would do to a sister.
"That's good. You won't freeze up on me then!"
"Hey! I never freeze!" she says, and you both laugh. Soon, the circus ends, and the two of you head home.

We waited in the dark alley. The six of us, watching the skies for the signal, Waiting. Suddenly, the sky lit up as the flare was launched.

"There's the signal. Let's go" our number one, Chief, ordered. Chief was blonde and very well kept, wearing a military jacket.

I grinned, as we all started moving to the tent where Akame and Tsukushi were waiting.

As you approached, the ringleader ran out if the tent in a panic, only to be stabbed in the gut by Chiefs katana.

I walked over to the dying man and smiled down to him.
"I enjoyed the show earlier by the way. It's a shame that you are enemies of the empire" you tell him as you watch the life leave his eyes.

You look around and watch as the other members kill the rest of the performers, coming to end on Pony as she kicks a guy in the throat.
"(f/n)! (f/n) I got one!" she smiles proudly. You pull out your throwing knives and send one in-between the eyes of a man sneaking up behind the small girl.

"Don't get cocky now! Wait until after we're done to celebrate" you warn. She nods in acknowledgement and turns back to the fight. You are forced to quickly dodge an arrow that flies next to your ear, so close you hear the whish as it imbeds itself into the wall behind you. You turn to the source of the arrow and grin.
"This should be fun" you say, looking at the man wielding a bow, already notching another arrow.
You pull out six throwing knives, holding one between each finger. You throw three to his left side, causing him to dodge right. However, the blades on his left were quickly followed by blades to his right and soon found his head and torso. One blade imbedded itself between his eyes, killing him instantly.

"Mission complete. Let's go home"
