Hyunjin and I are on our way to Jinyoung's penthouse which is about 30 minutes away from their dorms.
"I'm sorry you got dragged into all of this. It's really late and now you have to live with me. Thank you" I thank him.
"It's no big deal, I think some time away from the boys will be best."
We sat in silence the rest of the ride. Listening quietly to Jinae's light snores.
"We should go in and sleep first, we still have school tomorrow. You and Jinae can sleep on the King and I'll sleep on the couch." Hyunjin says as he sets his keys down on the kitchen counter.
"Are you sure?" I ask referring to the sleeping arrangements.
"Yeah. Good Night!"
"Night!" I walk to the bedroom and through on one of Jinyoungs shirts, then I set Jinae's basket on the bed anday next to her.
*2 hours later*
I wake up to a loud cry.
Looking over Jinae is crying loudly in her basket.
Grabbing her I did as Hyunjin said earlier and cradled her.
"It's okay" Continuing to cry over and over she wouldn't stop.
"Stay here I'll go get your food" I tell her running into the kitchen.
Looking around I finally find it. Running past Hyunjin he is sound asleep.
How could he possibly be asleep through all this?
Giving her food and changing her diaper, she slowly falls back asleep in my arms.
I lay down on the bed, while she lays on my chest.
I attempt to stay awake but soon my vision goes dark.
What felt like 5 minutes later a soft shake wakes me up.
"Chaneun, wake up." Slowly opening my eyes, there stood Hyubjin with messy hair pulled back with a hair headband.
"Here I'll help you" Hyunjin then takes the sleeping Jaein from my chest and into his arms, which she begins to wake up.
Resulting in tear.
"Huh?!?" Hyunjin is taken aback by her sudden cries "I think she wants you." Handing her back in Tommy arms, I'm still half asleep.
"I'll put her in her bed, try to put her sleep. Go ahead and get ready, I don't take too long anyways." I say as I bounce her.
"Okay, I'll make breakfast too."
About 20 minutes later she finally falls asleep and I don't waste anytime to get ready.
It only took me 15 minutes to do my school routine. I used my clothes that I left from the other times I stayed over, and when I finished Hyunjin was finishing up breakfast.
"Thank you" I say as he hands me a plate of food. He then sits across from me at the table and eats his serving.
"You are a very deep sleeper." I tell him.
"What?"
"Last night, Jaein, she woke up crying. I spent about an hour trying to make her fall back asleep. You were asleep the whole time, it actually amazes me."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Next time wake me up so I can help. Usually the boys are really loud, so my mind tends to ignore it. When it comes to physical touch such as vibration, or a pillow to the face I'm a rather light sleeper." He rants, looking sincere.
"It's okay, I am not mad at you. Jaein is my responsibility."
"I want to-" loud cries come from the bedroom and I begin to stand up.
"No, lemme do it. I want to help, eat your food." He quickly stands up gesturing me to sit back down and he moves to the bedroom.
He comes back into the kitchen with Jaein in his arms crying.
He then, quickly, makes his way to the bag where the baby food and diapers were. He pulled put a baby bottle and then he grabbed milk from the fridge and filled the bottle. Putting the bottle in the microwave for a few seconds he took out the warm milk and fed it to Jinae slowly who was crying the entire time.
She sips it gently and her cries begin to stop
I sigh of relief came out of Hyunjin's mouth.
"We should get going, school should start soon. We don't want to be late." Hyunjin says grabbing his car keys.
"Are we going to show up to school together?" I ask as I set my dish into the sink.
"Why wouldn't we?"
"I mean, you don't car what people will think?"
"Yeah, not really." I nod and grab my school bag and Jaein's basket.
"Wheres your backpack?" I ask
"Its in my car, I always leave it in there." I nod and we walk out the door.
Before Hyunjin got into the car he set Jaein into the basket and I held her in my lap.
"After school we can get the supplies for her," Hyunjin says "do you like any type of music?" I shake my head and he turns on the radio.
"It's kind of weird," Hyunjin starts making me raise an eyebrow. "Well we have the same classes, we sit next to each other in all of them, we are paired for this baby thing, and now Jinae."
"It is weird, but that's life."
The rest of the ride was silent. I think he is still not 100% comfortable with me, just like I'm not 100% comfortable with him.
Hyunjin parks in the parking lot of the school and suddenly my stomach begins to churn.
"Maybe we should go in at different time. For now at least." I say anxiously.
"If that makes you more comfortable. If you can't handle the stares, or the question just let me know. I'll come in, in about 5 minutes." I nod and open the door looking at Jinae then to Hyunjin.
I cover Jinae a little more with her blanket and steadily walk to class.
The stares begin most immediately
