A cat slunk from the forest. Blending in with the light from the moon and shadows from the undergrowth purrfectly. They were heading towards another cat..... But, their intentions weren't so friendly. As the cat neared their target they slowed down lowering themselves to the ground. They stared at the cat waiting for their head to turn before pouncing. Sharpmoss let out a howl of pain as the cat rammed their face into the mossy bark of the pine tree that they were standing under. Sharpmoss tried to fight back but, the other cat just kept ramming Sharpmoss' face into the tree. Sharpmoss' howls of pain fading to whimpers. Eventually the fight left the old cat and their body finally went limp. As Sharpmoss let out their last breathe they prayed to StarClan to protect their family.
