***3rd Person Point of View***
Christine walked back into the Bureau. She was carrying a bouquet of violet roses. Red needed to apologize to Liz. The flowers would help him out.
Red came down the hall; Liz and Abe were with him, and a couple of agents, too. "Hey, what's happening?" She asked. "Also, Red had me pick these up for you. "Christine said, giving Liz the flowers.
"Oh...Red! These are beautiful." Liz smiled, she was touched, and Christine's job was accomplished.
"You can kiss and hug later! What's happening?" Christine laughed, getting serious again.
"Well, an auction house just went dark, everyone is missing...and they say it's sticky." Manning pushed through them, a disgusted look on his face. "I want you to stay here. You're not cleared for missions yet." He said.
"Bullshit!" She snapped.
"No, it's Wyvern shit, that's staining the floor of the cells. Use your magic mumbo jumbo to take care of it, would you?" He said dismissively.
Christine clenched her fists. "You flippin' what?" She asked in a monotone.
"Oh no." Abe sighed.
"What? You made mincemeat out of that dog thing Sammael, that Nazi guy, and that ticket clock-heart...person." Manning sighed, turning his back on her... big mistake.
Christine clenched her fists until her knuckles were white. "Okay, I'm gonna let you take this one, Chris. You've been away." Red sighed.
A low rumble of a growl erupted from Christine's chest as she used earth magic under her feet. The cement of the floor under her feet cracked, all the way over to Manning, who stopped when he looked at the floor, seeing a crack between his feet.
Not good...

"I didn't hit him that hard." Christine sighed as she talked with Liz."You threw him through a window, Chris." Liz giggled.
"Yeah... but he brought up the Nazi bastards, so I think it was warranted." Christine shrugged with a chuckle as she loaded a clip into her pistol. "Got me on mission status too." She smirked.
"I guess it's good to have you back. I missed my shopping buddy, and my coffee buddy...and my buddy-buddy, I need more friends." Liz laughed, realizing how true that was, putting her pistol into her holster.
"We should just take a day, maybe a spa retreat, a cruise...with really good fire extinguishers. Oh! Did I tell you?" Christine grinned.
"Depends. Should I be nagging?" Liz teased.
"No...?" Christine joked.
"Chris," Liz said sternly.
"Okay, fine! I think I have a date." Christine giggled as they entered the truck.
Red and Abe turned on a dime to the new development. "A date...?" Red hissed. "Is it Anderson? Slimy bastard..." He growled.
"Uh...no. I don't even know who Anderson is...my new guy friend is a few thousand-year-old Prince, super cute, dark, and brooding... big spear." She winked the last part at Liz, making her laugh.
"You better be talking about an actual spear, Chris! Also, what's this about being older than you by a few millennia...?!" Red scolded. "You always have a thing for older guys!" He groaned.
"Red, chill...also, my last boyfriend was 23, I'm 75! Should I be dating WW2 Vets? Cause they're not exactly fresh!" Christine argued.
"Where did you meet him?! What kind of date?!" Red demand to know.
"I met him on my walk today. He's an old-world gentleman... I invited him out for coffee in Central Park-well, he likes tea." Christine said proudly, crossing her arms.
"What's his first name?" Red went into questioning mode.
"Nuada."
"Last name...?"
"Siverlance."
"Sounds flamboyant. What kind of creature?"
"Elf, the cute Legolas kind, but also like Bat Man. So, the hot kind." She smirked wider.
"Style?"
"Futile Japan mixed with Renaissance."
"Has he touched you?"
"Not your business, but he kissed my knuckles goodbye like I was a princess." She flipped her hair dramatically.
Red growled, and the questions went on...
***
The modified garbage truck that they used to get around the city stopped.
They got out, and Christine was first to see the familiar crates from earlier that day...now empty. Nuada had been carrying one.
"Chris...? Are you alright?" Abe asked, walking up beside her.
Her chest hurt. "Uhh... yeah, no...I just... I need a minute. The ooze that we are stepping in...it's people." She made up an excuse, turning on her heel, her boots squishing on the gross floor as she walked.
She paused when she was in the middle of the ballroom... she could sense movement in the walls...tiny little legs walking in swarms inside, behind the drywall and paper.
"Tooth Fairies...?" She thought aloud, she could smell them... like a dentist's office, they salivate fluoride.
Her chest hurt even more; Nuada had done this...
"Hey, you in there! Come on out, I won't hurt you... I promise." She called in the language that almost every kind of fairy used, more often than not. It was Gaelic. The old kind.
Christine watched as tooth fairies poured from the holes they broke in the walls, like cockroaches and rats, scurrying to stand in front of her on the disgusting floor. She smiled and knelt.
She clicked her radio. "Guys, I found the houseguests, their tooth fairies, and Abe. You may want to read up on them to give the others a good idea about what we are up against here. Do not engage if you see one, and stay out of the ballroom, I've got this". Christine ordered.
"Got it." Liz and Abe replied over their com.
Christine giggled, looking back to the fairies that eyed her curiosity. "Now... what did Nuada take? I'm a friend of his." She asked.
One of them came forward, and she let him stand on her hand, lifting him to her level. "What do we get if we tell you?" The little thing asked.
She pulled a vile of old teeth from a compartment on her pants leg. "These teeth are over six hundred years old, from a Hindu Monk in Nepal. Perfectly aged?" She offered.
The little thing nodded, and they agreed... that was a good deal.
