"Hey Arthit, how was your weekend? You went awol," Knott bombarded me as soon as I walked up to him on Monday at school.

I'm not one of those people who spends so much time with their significant other that they forget they have other friends. Its just that I currently cannot get enough of Kong. I just want to be with him, all the time.

"Good morning to you too Knott. And what do you mean how was my weekend, we had a game yesterday. "

"Yes that was sick wasn't it?" He said excitedly, already dropping the subject to talk about yesterday's game.

"Yes, now that we've qualified for the regionals, coach is going to be all over us like white on rice." I grimaced just thinking about it.

"I can already picture it...its going to be brutal," We got to our lockers to get books for the first four periods, which were homeroom and Geography. Yippie! Presentations! My favourite! I thought sarcastically.

"Whats up with Miss Kim?" I was brought out of my head by Knott's comment.

"What?" I asked in confusion, turning to look around me.

"Look towards the main entrance,"

I turned to look and there she was dressed to the nines. She had on what looked like four inch heels with a flowy dress with a plunging neckline bordering on inappropriate for a high school teacher.

"Maybe she's trying something new," I shrugged, turning back to select my books. I didn't want to forget anything for the class.

"What? How to be a milf? " Knott added chuckling.

"Maybe she got herself a new boyfriend....or a date," I replied non committal

"Good for her then....hurry up, time's almost up,"

Just as I closed my locker, Miss Kim passed by us then stopped and turned back to face us.

"Mr Rojnapat, see me in class before you go for your lunch,"

"Yes Ma'm," I replied, racking my brain on what I could've done to warrant a meeting with her.

"You don't have to be so formal with me, I'm only four years older than you. You can call me 'P Ice," she had a little smile on her face as she left, and I could've sworn she was swaying her hips ever so slightly as she walked away.

"What the hell was that?" Knott had a frown on his face.

"Oh good....I thought I was the only one seeing that,"

"Lets go to class, we have a presentation remember? "

"AHHHH. ..kill me already," I groaned, following behind Knott to class.

The classes went well, or as well as a Monday morning class can go with an always brutal Mr Stevens. He marks the presentation as you do it and he makes sure everyone in the group has a part presenting, but that doesn't mean if you do your part right you'll get anything better than the others. That's why I hated group presentations. I'm very anal about my grades and being in groups with people who don't really care always drives me nuts. But Mr. Stevens doesn't allow individuals to do their own work apart from the group. I'll just have to do the extra credit to bring up my  CA.

Exhausted from four periods of listening to presentations about what we considered unappreciated wonders of the world, I wanted nothing less than to go see my own eighth wonder of the world, but Miss Kim waved me into her class. I had forgotten that she wanted me to come see her.

I signaled for Knott to go ahead without me to lunch and trudged my way over to Miss Kim's class.

"Arthit, sit down please," She signaled me to sit on the chair in-front of her table. I put my bag down and gave her my attention. I was curious on why she wanted to see me.
