It was just half an hour before eight. Maya was busy getting ready and was dreading it out. She didn't wanna leave New York and everyone knew that. Josh thought she would adapt easier in London but she didn't. She did her hair and make-up then she got dressed.

"Ah good. You're ready," Megan said. "Of course I am. Gosh this is a lot harder than I thought," Maya said. "When is anything easy? Come. We gotta get going," Megan said.
Maya sighted and then they were off. The bakery was as always busy for that time of the day. Maya knew she had to say goodbye to more than just a few friends. She had to say goodbye to everything she has ever known. And that was what was so hard.
"Can someone tell her to relax?" Megan asked.
Maya was sitting between Riley and Josh. She was nerves about leaving and anyone could see that.
"You know you're not saying goodbye to anyone forever?" Megan said. "Yeah I do. I'm going for a walk," Maya said and went out the door.
"She's saying goodbye to everything she's ever known," Josh said and went after Maya.
"You okay?" Josh asked when he was beside Maya. "Guess so. This is a lot harder than I thought," Maya said. "I know you're not just saying bye to a couple of friends," Josh said.
Maya took a deep breath and exhaled. She didn't actually know what she is going to do about this whole situation and when she gets back to London it will be twice as worse.
"Yeah. I think what's making it worse is about who everyone is. Sometimes I think everyone is just people till I come back and have to leave again," Maya said. "Well that doesn't mean you have to say goodbye forever. We can still have contact with each other so that isn't completely bad," Josh said. "I know. And I know that I'm extremely lucky to have such good friends. It's just a little bad to go away again," Maya said and Josh gave her a hug. "Well we'll always be here," Josh said. "I know. Let's head back," Maya said.
"What about a last song?" Riley asked. "Okay," Maya said and went on the stage.
She smiled at Josh and he knew she was more nerves than anything.

" Whoa! She is amazing," Riley said. " Yeah," Josh said and Maya came to sit down again.
" You know you can be a singer one-day," Josh said. " Thanks," Maya said.
It was later the night and the Scott's and Maya was at the Matthews. They decided to spend a little time there before heading back. But that actually made it just worse for Maya.
"Okay time to head out," Morgan said and greeted her brothers. "Please take care of each other and don't make trouble," Morgan said. "We won't," Cory said. "Let's go," Darren said. "I'll walk with you guys," Josh said.
While Darren was buckling DJ up Josh and Maya say their goodbyes.
"A year goes by quicker than you know," Josh said. "Yeah. Who knows. Maybe you'll see me sooner," Maya said. "Bye Gorgeous," Josh said and hugged Maya. "Bye Boing. Take care of yourself." "Okay let's get going," Darren said.
Maya smiled and climbed back in the car. She has an idea and she knows what she is going to do as well. She won't be apart from anyone for too long.
