when you lose weight

lately, you weren't feeling good. you lost all your confidence, and anytime you'd be in front of the mirror, you wouldn't dare to look up.

you were a model, and about three months ago, you've been seeing more and more hate comments about your body shape.

usually you wouldn't mind them, but since there were more hateful comments than before, you unconsciously started believing them.

it all started with a small diet, and more exercising, but it ended up getting worse with time. you'd practically starve yourself.

but it was never enough to you.

and of course, your lovely boyfriend, Lay, has noticed it, and was determined to stop you before it became too serious.

that night, the two of you had a date in a restaurant. but again, you weren't planning on eating a lot.

as the server walked away, leaving you with the menus to let you decide on what you'd want to eat, Lay looked up at you smiling.

"I heard their fries have an awesome taste, let's take some with steaks, mh?"

"I- hm I actually wanted to take that salad." you said pointing the menu.

he didn't say anything and called the server over.

"we'll both take the menu 5, thanks."

you frowned and looked at Lay as the server walked away again.

"what the heck was that ? I told you I wanted the salad !"

"no you don't. I mean yes, you told me, but I know that you don't actually want to eat some salad." he said before drinking his wine.

"in that case, I'm not eating." you said crossing your arms.

"stop being capricious, y/n. you used to love eating, what happened to you ?"

"what do you mean ?" you raised an eyebrow and he sighed.

"you lost a lot of weight and it seems like you don't even want to stop. baby, you're perfect. I don't know what happened, but this is getting too dangerous, and I'm truly worried about your health."

you stared at him quietly, biting your lower lip.

"a lot of people started telling me that I gained weight and that I looked like a pig... I just wanted to be skinnier and prettier just like the other models." the tear that escaped your eye got immediately wiped away by Lay.

"listen to me. your body shape is perfect, and you're pretty. everything about you is beautiful. don't ever compare yourself to other people, because they're nothing compared to you. don't you ever believe hate comments again, they're untrue. I promised you I'll be there for you, so we'll go through this together, alright ?" he said looking straight into your eyes while holding your hand.

you nodded, smiled lightly. "thank you for being here for me. I love you."

"I love you too. and now I want you to eat those awesome fries !" he said as a server came with your food.
