“Congrats!!” My family shouted. My cousin’s new CD was blaring through the house. He and his band members were getting pats on the backs, smiles, congrats. I was just sitting my room, waiting for everyone to leave so I could get time one on one with my cousin. I mean since he got in with the band we haven’t talked, or well even looked at each other. I miss him, and I guess you could say I’m a tad bit jealous. I play the drums too, hell I even sing but yeah he is older by like 8 years.
“CC!” I heard a high pitched noise. I groaned at the noise. His stupid girlfriend is here. That’s it; I probably won’t ever get to see him now. I slammed my door shut and grabbed my Sleeping with Sirens CD putting it in and blaring to show them I was mad. Though they could probably hardly hear it over the noise of their new CD. I walked over to my mirror and glanced at myself.
My name is Willow Mora. My cousin is CC from the band Black Veil Brides. I am 18 year’s old. I have long black hair with red strips in it. I have dark brown eyes that almost look black. I’m not short but yet I’m not tall. Also I’m not skinny but yet I’m not fat. I wear all black and keep my hair in front of my face. I’ve acted this way since I was about 10 and CC was about 18. He is like my older brother, though anymore it’s like he doesn’t care.
When I heard noise die down and I raced down the stairs, hearing loud noise as my combat boots made an impact on the stairs, once I got down their I saw CC sitting at the counter alone while his parents and my parents cleaned up. I smiled and sat in a stool next to him, “Hey their little willow.” CC smiled elbowing me. We talked forever because he was going to be on tour.
“Hey I’ll Skype you all the time okay!” He said around midnight when he was leaving, “hell I’ll try to come and visit during breaks.” I nodded and hugged, “I love you little willow.”
“I love you Coma.” I laughed hugging my cousin.
But he shouldn’t have made that promise. Because of course he didn’t keep the promise... then again no one ever keeps promises with me anymore.
