As I drive to school with Aaron next to me, as every other day when he begs me to give him a ride. The day always starts the same; checking my phone in the morning for the same exact text from him saying "you giving me a ride?" He always knows my answer will be yes but I appreciate him asking anyways.
Finally arriving to school, we go our separate ways and head to class. The first class on my boring schedule is English 11-1. I sit in the back where some friends of mine from the baseball team are.
"Hey Danny, have you seen the new student?" Asks Edward, as he gives me a handshake.
"She is really something else maybe my future girlfriend." Says Johnny as everyone laughs at him. "Guys just give me sometime and you'll see."
As the class quiets down, the girl I suppose everyone is talking about comes in the room.
"Students this is Phobe she just moved here from California. Be nice. You can sit next to Danny." She says, pointing at me.
She has long burnett hair with light brown eyes, and is wearing a yellow shirt tied up, as part of her stomach is showing and ripped blue jeans. I sit there nervously, as she's obviously attractive but worse my idiot friends are making noises like middle schoolers. Time goes by as we read The Raisin in the Sun, sooner or later I hear the bell ring. I stand up packing my things, as I turn around talking to my friends till I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Sorry to bother, but can you show me to my next class?" Phobe asks me.
"Yeah no problem."
I grab my things and head out the classroom with her. She hands me her schedule, as we walk to the next class. We get caught up in conversation as the hallways start getting more crowded. As were walking, I see Aaron pass me by, he raises his eyebrows as Phobe is close next to me. I turn back around to Phobe as we head into our next class together.
