(original air date: August 1st 2018)
· Virgil and Lane meet on the ship headed to the Uphora region
· The two arrive at Triport City wharf and encounter a weird old man with two missing fingers staring at them; the man turns out to be Cedar, the professor of the region
· Prof. Cedar takes Virgil and Lane to his lab and introduces them to his assistant Evan
· The Professor suggests that Evan engage in friendly combat against the rookie trainers to test their skills
· After two battles, one with Lane and her partner Ralts (Izzy), and the other with Virgil and his partner Shinx (Louise), Evan and his Sandile (Sobek) get their asses handed to them twice by two complete novices
· The Professor congratulates the two trainers on their recent victories and tells Evan that he's fired since he's a shit battler (JK Lol). He then presents Virgil and Lane each with a Pokedex to use on their travels
· Professor Cedar sends the three trainers on an errand into the nearby swamp
· The group makes quick preparations for their quest by visiting the local mart for supplies and the Pokemon Center where they meet the capable and overworked Nurse Joseph Joy (Nurse JoJo for short)
· Virgil experiences several vivid and inexplicable flashbacks; Evan initially expresses his concern, but Lane reassures him that this is (unfortunately) normal in Virgil's case and is best to be ignored
· The two finally set out on the road towards the swamp; along the way Virgil alerts his comrades of a nearby sound just as a group of three Pokemon (two Poochyena and a Scyther) leap out from the undergrowth
· Two of the trainers prepare for battle, the other prepares for a flashback
· Evan uses his almighty boot to punt the first Poochyena far away
· Virgil orgasms at the sight of Scyther, mistaking it for the legendary Pokemon Celebi, which he has long sought after
· Lane silently watches in disgust
· Virgil expertly weakens then captures the Scyther
· Lane holds a ball over the second Poochyena's head and lets gravity do the rest; Poochyena get!
· Scyther's stats are disgustingly good
· Poochyena is a shiny; Lane names her Blondie
· Evan exudes copious amounts of salt
· Virgil realizes that his new Pokemon is not Celebi and curses the gods above
· Obligatory laughter from the other characters ensue as the camera pans upward
