Sunday mornings were no quieter than any other, not in Manhattan. Bustling streets and full-to-the-brim buildings, it was possibly the busiest day of the week — especially in the Convel household. Each person had their different schedules, though the morning was strictly to be taken up by Bart Bass' charity brunch. From then on, they could go about their day separately.
It wasn't unlikely that the men of the house would travel up state to the country club for a spot of golf — though it was usually to discuss college that Greyson was almost adamant on just not going to. Genevieve would usually spend Sundays with her socialite friends in the Colony Club and the likes of Anne Archibald — perhaps in The Tea Room or the spa. Scarlett, however, had the rest of the weekend to do as she pleased — which wasn't always a good thing.
However, this Sunday was to be a productive one — despite her partying exploits fro the night prior, Scarlett had been up bright and early; even if it was to silently mull over every possible outcome she could think of for potential warfare against Serena. She'd been through the routine: checked through emails, updated herself on just about everything relevant occurring in Manhattan and fitted in some online shopping to calm her — even if it was all to avoid leaving her room and having to speak to her parents.
