Jungkook hated the uniform already. Having to hold heavy silver platters, and practice his greeting smile. He fell in line with the long stride of waiters beginning to place small horderves against the reflective dinning plate.

Classical music could be heard playing distantly from the kitchen. The ballroom doors had open, and he could hear the chatter of guests beginning to walk in with the help of rushing staff.

"Jungkook, you got a loose baby wisp," His friend, Jaebum nudged his shoulder. He wore the same outfit and held the same platter as him. "You know all male staff has to gel down their hair during events, right? it's dress code-"

"I know it's dress code," Jungkook grunted, balancing his platter with his palm. Pushing the double doors open, and trudging to the ballroom before properly adjusting his shoulders. "Christ, I get I'm the rookie, but I don't have the memory of dory."

Jaebum sighed before smiling brightly and bowing slightly at the guests. "Everybody is stressed, we have to look and make sure everything is perfect."

"Over a stupid spouse nobody never even seen before," Jungkook muttered back before grinning at the female guests cunningly. Holding out the platter to those who he swooned. "Ladies, take as much as you want. The more you take, the more I might just come back to you."

The only thing that stuck with him after high school was his stunning looks. He knew that for sure.

Jaebum rolled his eyes. "Don't say negative things about them out loud!" he says, "Master finds out, you're gonna be dead meat."

"What's with everybody and dying for talking shit?" Jungkook scoffed, strutting through the ballroom as it begin to fill in. "Master and that lover of his isn't even here yet. You all are freaking out for no reason."

Jaebum stared at Jungkook before shivering with his shoulders. "You haven't seen how the man gets when it comes to his love life. He's had so many girls come to the house, but they never stay that long. You talk about his girl badly, then you're not staying at all."

"Whatever," Jungkook shrugged, already serving the rest of his platter till it was empty. He shook his head apologetically to the guests who were piling to get a piece from the handsome waiter, and walked back to the kitchen with it on his hip.

"Jungkook!" His manager hissed, "Stop walking and bow!"

Jungkook continued to pass through the crowd, noticing it's gotten quite quiet. He was just trying to make way to the kitchen so he pushed past the staring guests that stood, and the staff members that bowed surprisingly low.

One of his other co-workers, Chan grabbed his hand and yanked him down beside him. "Are you insane?!" He quietly gritted his teeth and hissed, "The master is here, show some respect!"

Chan grabbed him and held him by the nape of his neck when the man tried to move. Jungkook choked slightly, ending up being forced to bow his head low. It was uncomfortable.

The music died off as footsteps echoed through the ballroom with quiet mutters from guests.

"... He brought home a man?!"
