I could hear the voices of a boy and a girl, although their words were slightly slurred and muted. I was to exahusted to open my eyes, and they felt glued shut whatsoever.
"Are you sure he'll survive?" It seemed to be the girls voice.
"For all the blood we found on him, suprisingly, most of it was Sam's." Sam must be that girl who had attacked me. It was satisfiying to know that some of my wild kicks and punches had hit home.
The boy continued to talk, breaking into my line of thoughts. "Still, he suffered a mild concussion, a broken nose, and possibly a few broken ribs." Thats when I noticed the scorching pain on the right side of my stomach.
"A few?! How many?" The girl had a slight tone of panic. Wow. These people here really weirded me out. First a girl who feels the need to mob me, then a girl who needs to know everything about me!
A few seconds of akward silence occured before the boy answered. He stuttered, even more hesitant to speak. "Um...f-four."
"Four! The next time I see that shank, I'm 'gonna smash her face in, then get a nice long knife and cut off her appendages, then burn her slowly, then-"
"Thats enough A.J." Well this girl A.J. certainly had a vivid mind. "Samantha's punishment will be decided as soon as Gally awakes. Until she has officaly been sentenced to Banishment, you still aren't allowed to talk like that about a fellow Glader."
"Alex your a party-klunker. I can't...."
Their voices slowly faded away as a began to feel drowzy. How did they know my name? Would I decide Sam's fate? Where was I? Why did Sam attack me? I tried to remember what Sam looked like, but I just made myself even drowzier. I had time in the morning to ponder my thoughts.
A black endless abyss of sleep took me over, like being engulfed by a huge ocean wave.
