Next morning Emily has risen up and looked around for him but he wasn't there. She wondered where he could've been, in no time her eyes popped wide open and she hurried off too get ready. Her clothes were in her bed prepared as she took a shower. As the opened the faucet turning it and started showering. It was surreal to her that today was another day she was going to face with different challenges.
After she was done she left the bathroom and got ready for school it was 7:10am and she had 20 minutes left so she went downstairs and greeted her mother with a hello and kissed her cheek. Her mom not knowing Max was inside her house sleeping with her, it was a thing she kept to herself and was used too. They started talking about school and all that jazz til her bus came.
She said goodbye to her and left to go to her bus. Sitting in her usual spot she put her headphones on and closed her eyes til the bus stopped where she needed to go. A couple minutes later the bus driver stopped and let them out, while Emily left she looked around trying to find her best friend. Walking around behind her came in Andrea they met a year ago and ever since that year they become close friends.
After greeting each other after Andrea scaring her and laughing about it. In the corner of the building was Max staring at her, wondering off with his friend laughing and talking to themselves. He watches her go by them entering the school as he can't wait to see her during first period. As Emily and Andrea were talking along the way going to her locker next month was going to be prom and wondered who were gonna ask them out.

E~girl I don't know I'm not really thinking about it as much
A~what!!..cmon now he didn't ask you yet?!
E~oh yea who?(she started laughing)
A~ you know who I'm talking about.. Max duh(she started slapping her shoulder while smiling at her)
E~really you know he's not going to anyways I think he's gonna ask out her
Who's her you may ask it's a girl name Stacey one of the popular girls and hangs out with Max and their friends so basically the quote on quote "popular kids". Emily didn't care if she didn't fit in or not all she knew that Max was part of them and had no interest in being in it. As they were talking beside her came along Max, she noticed that he was going towards her and told Andrea that they were gonna talk about it later.
She hugged her goodbye and left, as she closed her locker. Max put his hands around her eyes and said " guess who it is!" he smirked. She smiled and said " Maxy!?" as she turned around and smacked him in his chest and giggled and hugged him. As he smiled at her and hugged her back and started walking together to the first period together.
