I'm just going to stop giving the pov statement since I'm not all that great at it and the warning is just going to be extended to all chapters;

Frisk felt like she had been trapped behind a think layer of fear for the majority of her life... She knew there was no real escape from it... Not drugs... Not alcohol... Not even death... Or near death could help her... But then she met him... He helped her... He was the first person to ever even try to get through to her... He calm her... All the things she tried before only numbed it for a small amount of time... But him... When she was with him it was like it was never there... And if it tried to butt it's ugly head, he was there to keep it in check... Or at least he was...

As Frisk realised Sans wouldn't be there for her today it took advantage... But she wouldn't let it... So as she stood in the kitchen alone, she grabbed the only thing she could think of to send it packing until Sans would be back... She'd done it before and she knew she still could... So she headed up the stairs to the place she knew could be cleaned the fastest... And locked herself in the bathroom...

As she sat on the bathroom floor... With the sharp kitchen knife still in hand... Thoughts were rushing through her head...

'Should I do this?'

'What if I make a mistake?'

'What if it doesn't work?'

'What if he finds out...'

'WhAt If hE HaTeS YoU fOr ThIs?!?'

But after that last thought she realized it was just the fear talking... And she wasn't going to listen to it... So as she held the blade to her skin she allowed one final thought to get out before the red liquid that kept her alive would be spilled on the floor...

'Would he forgive you for doing this...'

But it was too late... The cold steel had already made contact with the vibrant hot liquid and it spilled down her arm... She could feel with it the same numbing pain that always accompanied it when she did this to herself... But she didn't care... With the numbing pain came a clarity that she could never felt with just Sans alone...

She hated this...

But still couldn't stop...

So she continued... Seconds turned to minutes... Minutes into hours... And Hours that felt like days... Suddenly she thought she heard screaming... But she was too numb to really pay attention to it... She decided to go again like she had done for the last 15... On both arms... She had heard another sound... His sound... It was a soft 3 tone knock on the door... But she was in the middle of something... So she waited to finish... And without really thinking... Smacked the back of the knife against the floor in the same tone...

Suddenly she felt like this was the wrong thing to do... But she had to make her arm's match before she could really think about it... And as she took the blade and began her next slice... She realized that the air had changed... As she finished...

She looked up to see Sans... Her Sans... She was so happy to see him home that she'd forgotten what she had just been doing... Even though she knew her voice would surely fail her, she wished to show the skeleton how much she'd missed him while he was gone. So with a shaky weak voice she mustered to let out, "Sa-n-s you-r b-back! Y-aa-y...", she was so happy... but... Then he began to cry... She hated seeing him cry... It made her world turn grey whenever she saw this... Granted both times where when she could barely see and was losing a considerable large amount of blood...

"Why...?"... It was like she could see the word as it left his mouth and fell to the bloody floor along with his tears... She wanted to make him feel better... To show that she was ok... That this was normal... That she had to do this... As she threw the knife against the bath, she could hear as it slid into it, but that wasn't important right now... She once again mustered her voice forward... "I w-as al-one... An-d thi-sss wa-s t-the onl-ly way t-o st-op th-e v-v-voice-s-s...".

'See Sans! I did good! I-I fought the fear down without you! I did good! Right!... Right?'...

But Sans said nothing... He simply cleaned, bandaged and move Frisk into their room... And then he left her there...

To clean up her mess...

As she sat in the dark room... The silence engulfed her and the thoughts returned...

'See we knew he wouldn't like it...'

'You shouldn't of done that...'

'He hates you now...'

'Just like them...'

'They hate you...'

'Josh hates you...'

'Sara hates you...'

'Toriel Hates you...'

'Papyrus Hates You...'

'MoM hAtEs YoU!!!'

'dAd HaTeS yOu!!!'

'....'

'Sans hates you...'

But with that last thought, Sans opened the door to the room... She faked being asleep... That last thought truly scared her... 'What if it was true... What if he kicked her out... What if-...', but her thoughts were halted by Sans getting into bed as he grabbing and brang her closer to him... This scared her... As all forms of close affection from males often did... But there was something else there as well as fear...

"Never do that again..." He breathed right next to her ear... He had been worried about her... She knew this would be a hard request of her... But at that moment she didn't care... All she could say was, "Ok..." As for the first time in 7 years she fell asleep completely valuable in someone's arms...
