Perci and Annabeth were getting ready to leave because they couldn't handle it anymore everywhere they went most of the campers would glare at them. It's been five years since the second giant war it was getting too hard. No matter how much the girls trained, played with the two toddlers, or travel around New york it just became too much. Everywhere they looked they were dead bodies of the demigods that they had lost, the girls couldn't even go to Sally's apartment because it got burned down.
They loved New York but also hated it, even if Thalia took some time off of being a hunter to visit camp half-blood or when Nico would bring them McDonald's to cheer them up. Though that ended up with Nico getting yelled at for using his powers, Perci's little sister though loved when Nico would give them the kid's toys that he got. It's safe to say that the toddlers loved their uncle Nico and Miss O'Leary.
So they decided to move back to Percy's hometown, Gotham it would be far enough from both camps but close enough that they could travel there if something happened. The idea of the girls moving was also approved by Nico, who was not happy after hearing the news, and neither was his boyfriend, Will Solace, he was the one to that had to deal with an even more grumpy Nico.
Perci, well she was hoping to see her old friends (some more than others) but was scared because they haven't talked since the second titan's war. She told them that she would rarely be able to talk to them again. When Perci told the gods they were sad and pissed off. Sad because all of them liked and even came to love them. They were mad because of what has happened and what the campers were doing to the heroes. It took a lot of conviving for the girls to leave even Amphitrite was sad to see the four girls leave. After all, they were the ones that made Poseidon spend more time under the sea with his other family.
When the young ladies and toddlers got to Gotham, they went straight to their new home. All the gods thought it would be a good idea to decorate the house for them. Everyone that the girls consider family got a room Nico and Thalia were the most excited that ey had rooms and could visit at any time.
Perci had an idea, she wanted to dye her hair. When Annabeth heard of the idea, she wanted to as well. So they went out and got their hair dye. Percy got blue highlights, and Annabeth got steel gray and light brown highlights.
After everything, they went grocery shopping and clothes shopping. By the time they were done with everything, it was night so they went and put the twins to bed, and finally, they went to bed because they had to go to college in the morning. They also have to drop off the twins at the daycare.
