You were walking back to your dorms to rest after you finally finished all your classes. As you got closer, you could hear a couple of people shouting. “Sir, you can’t go up. You don’t live here, and the person you’re looking for isn’t here right now.” “How do you know? This isn’t a hotel where you have to sign in and out when you enter and leave the building!” “She has classes just like everyone else.” “Actually, I happen to know her schedule, and her class ended ten minutes ago.” “Well, you’ll just have to wait until she gets back.” You walked into the lobby to see Louis standing there with his arms crossed over his chest and a sour look on his face. “Louis? What are you doing here?” you asked him. “Hey, I just wanted to stop in and see how you’re doing,” he said, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. “How’s your day?” he continued as the two of you started walking up the staircase. When you were out of earshot of the front desk you said, “It’s pretty good. What was that all about? I could hear you and the person at the front desk while I was still outside the building.” “Oh, that? That girl tried to tell me I couldn't go up and see you.” “Well, I wasn’t there yet. What were you going to do when you figured that out?” “I don’t know, probably just sit on your bed and wait for you. Why weren’t you there, anyway?” “I was walking back from class, and it’s kind of a long walk. Plus I’m lazy and walk slow.” “Okay. Do you wanna do something like watch a movie or get some dinner?” “Yeah, that’d be fun. We can go to dinner and then see a movie afterwards, or we could even come back to the dorms. That way it’ll be less expensive.” “Okay.” The two of you went out to eat at your favorite restaurant and then came back and watched a scary movie, falling asleep in Louis’s arms.
