The next day, Karin woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. She groggily walked to the living room, being welcomed to the sight of Toshiro cooking breakfast in the morning.
"Hey Shiro...."
"Good morning, Karin."
And silence overcame them.
".... How are you feeling today?"
"... Fine, i guess."
He knew she wasn't fine. It took her months to recover from her mother's death, of course she wouldn't be fine overnight.
Toshiro contemplated whether he should tell now. It wasn't right to tell her right after a break up, but before he knew it, the words came out of his mouth.
"Hey Karin? I have something to tell you."
