As a refresher, for Heaven statuses, when you die you're placed in a situation which depicts how good you were on earth.
Starting from the highest rank and going down, there is
Queen/King
Princess/Prince,
Governess/Governer,
Bachelor/Bacheloress,
Chalice (middle class),
Takko,
peasant (lowest class).
You can move up the ranks but Takko's and Peasants are seen as dirt and are discriminated so it's hard for them to move up at all.
Hell status is the same as heaven but the peasants are helped to get up the ranks to at least Chalice's or Takko's

Backstory:
When the big family shit went down, he was only 6 years old so he doesn't completely remember what happened. He knows that his sisters and father were killed in an uprising when he was that age.
The main attack happened while Ren and his twin, Chanelle, were playing hide and seek and Ren was seeking. His mother rushed in and was frantically trying to find Channelle and when she heard heavy footsteps echoing from down the long, hollow hallway, she grabbed Ren by the arm and opened the window.
An overgrown tree's branch stuck in through the window and she crawled into the tree's branch, hand firmly still on Ren's upper arm.
Tears pricked at Ren's eyes and he began to wimper. His mother shushed him quietly and they soon fully made it out.
They successfully escaped their home and ran as fast as they could. His mum's velvet purple wings looked torn and weak so when she attempted to fly, she found out she would have to abandon him.
She'd already abandoned her daughter, she wasn't going to abandon another one of her children.
They made it out safely and went into hiding.
Ren is now currently part of a guild with Joeanna, the reincarnation of his twin sister, Ciara and Jackson.
