~The Paper~

With the sound of your alarm, you woke up. There was an emptiness.

Did he left you?
Will he come back?
Where is he?
Is he okay?

You were getting even more anxious since you couldn't get any news from him.
You got ready for your work. And at that time the door bell rang. You ran to open it, wishing it was Tae.

He was just standing there, not even looking at your face. You hugged him when you saw him standing right in front of you but he didn't hug you back. He was facing down so you couldn't see his face but you did understand something was odd.
"Hey, baby! I missed you!" you said with a loving tone but you didn't get any reaction nor answer from him.
You got inside but he wasn't following you. You went to the door again, tried to see his face but he was covering it.
You started to drag him inside but he wasn't moving. He was like a statue.

"Hey! What's going on?" you asked in a stern tone. There was still no answer. You headed to the salon but you stopped with his grip.
He was gripping your wrist which made your wrist hurt. You tried to set your hand free from his tight grip. He reached to his pocket and got a wrinkled paper out. You were all confused about his behavior. You looked to the wrinkled paper, something was written on it. He put the paper in your hand and with in a second he just disappeared. You looked out of the door but there was no sign of him.

You stood there like a minute, all confused and trying to figure out what just happened. You didn't open the paper yet. You put the paper in your bag and went to metro. You finally arrived to your office. You started to work on your new presentation. You were so focused that you didn't hear your phone ring until your best friend from work Soomi hand you your phone. The call was from Jimin.

"Hi Jimin, sorry I didn't hear you called." you apologized.
"Hey y/n. I just wanted to make sure that if everything is okay. Did Tae return home?" he asked.
"Yeah, it's fine." you lied to him.
"Oh, that's good! Anyways I have to go now, bye!"
"Bye Jimin."
You felt a bit guilty for lying him. But this was between you and Tae and you didn't want to make him worry either.

"Hey y/n. Are you okay? You seem lost in your thoughts." Soomi said.
"Ah, it's about Tae."
"Oh, did you guys fight?"
"No, not really. He started to acted different, he didn't come home yesterday."
"Maybe he was just working overtime."
"Yeah maybe..." you said and turn back to your computer.

It was already lunch break. You ordered some ramen and eat it while writing your analyze. Soomi sat next to you and tried to open a topic to talk about and change your mood. But it was useless. You just became an workaholic in a day and how hard Soomi tried you were not getting your head up from your computer. After finishing your ramen you reached to your bag to get your water bottle out. But instead of the water bottle your hand get a wrinkled paper. You totally forgot that you put the paper to your bag. You wanted to open it but also didn't want to effect your work right now. So you just put the paper back in your bag and get your water bottle out.

After the hours of work, you were finally on your way home. You put your headphones on and started to listen some relaxing songs. With a touch on your shoulder you flinched. You turn to see who was it and you just shocked. He was Minsoo, your best friend from elementary school.

"Yahh y/n! Long time no see huh?"
"Omg! Minsoo! How did you find me?"
"With a little help it was an easy work. So how's everything?" he asked.

You both were talking and going to your house. You invited him but he made an excuse and leave. You lied down and watch some tv series. You were so exhausted because all the things that happened this morning.
You remembered the paper. You wanted to read it but you didn't want to ruin your mood which was already ruined.
But curiosity kills the cat, so you reached to your bag and get the paper out.
