Today Lese was coming back from her trip, I still didn't know what I was going to say. I didn't know what to say to her, I couldn't keep secrets from Valese.
How—how could this have happened? I didn't—I know I love Qiao, but if this had to happen, I'd wanted it to be out of love. Not because she wanted something, I—I couldn't—wouldn't want this at all.
Assistant.... Mr Lu, there's someone here to see you. She spoke, as I had my chair to the door. She said it's important but doesn't want to give her name.
Lu.... Sent her in. I replied, as she left.
Valese.... I'M BACK! I heard a familiar voice, making me jump up from the chair.
Lu.... Lese?
Valese.... Yes, you weirdo. Now, are you going to stand there or are you coming to hug me? She asked making me move towards her, ingulfing her in a hug.

Lu.... I started to worry about you, you were gone for over 5 days never calling except for the birthday. D—Don't ever scare me like that, p—please. I whispered into her ear, pulling her closer to me.
Valese.... Lu? I never meant to scare you. She said, as she placed her hands in my hair and on my neck.
Assistant.... Mr Lu. I heard, with a knock on the door making me pull away from Valese. Swallowing fixed my jacket and tie, walking out the door and going to start filming.
Valese Pov
As Lu left, I knew there was something wrong with the way he hugged me and held me as I had my hands in his hair and on his neck.
Shaking my head, I walked out of the office and down to the street—hailing a cab I got in and asked him to take me home. Once I arrived, everything was quiet until Grandma was there.
Grandma (housekeeper) .... Welcome home, I've prepared some dinner, Madam Qiao is upstairs and Master Lu hasn't arrived yet.
Valese.... Thank you, you can leave now—I'll take care of everything else.
Grandma.... Lady Lee, I can't—
Valese.... Please, I can manage.
Nodding her head, she took her coat and left the house. Smiling, I started preparing the plates and table and then Qiao come down.
Qiao.... Lee—Lee—you're back. She spoke hugging me. Where's Grandma?
Valese.... I told her to take her home, so, she can rest a little. Besides I wanted to spend some time with you and Lu.
As I said his name, he entered the house hanging his coat on the rack. Waving at him, he nodded but once his eyes met Qiao, he walked upstairs making a loud noise as he slammed his bedroom door. Frowning at Qiao, she just looked down at the food her entire face changing like something bad happened.
Qiao finished her food and went straight to her bedroom, once she was done—not knowing what was going on I needed to find out what happened, just to make sure that everything was okay.
Getting up, I went straight for Lu's room, when he opened the door his shirt was opened all the way and yet he was still wearing it.
Lu.... Lese?
Valese.... Lu, what's going on between you and Qiao?
Lu.... What do you mean?
Valese.... What do I mean? Lu, when you saw her you went straight to your room. I'm—I'm worried about you, I just—I can't—

She said, as she whipped her face, knowing she didn't like to be alone if she cried. I pulled her into my room.
Lu.... Here, take this—ill get some water get dressed.
Valese.... But—
Lu.... Just do it. I said, as I went downstairs to get some water, once I was finished, I went to my room to see that Valese was already dressed in one of my shirts and under the covers. Smiling, I placed the water on her side of the bed cabinet, turning around, I wanted to go to the spare bedroom when I heard Valese voice.
Valese.... Lu?
Lu.... Yes. I replied as I closed the door again.
Valese.... C—could you please stay with me?
Lu.... Sure thing. I said, as I got in the bed with her.
When I got in, her back was to me as she spoke.
Valese.... My—I—my—
She didn't say anything as she turned around grabbing me, her head was on my chest as her hand grabbed onto my chest.
Lu.... Don't worry, everything is going to be okay. I said, as I took her hand in mine squeezing it lightly.
Valese.... I'm just scared to lose you. she whimpered as she cried.
Lu.... You won't ever lose me Lese, no matter what. I said looking down at her as I held her face in my hand.
Valese.... I feel like such an idiot.
Lu.... Why?
Valese.... Because, I'm crying in front of you and making you all wet. She said, rubbing her eyes. C—can I stay here tonight?
Lu.... Of course, I'll get a—
Valese.... No, I mean—could you stay next to me? I don't want to be alone tonight, and I just ned someone to hold me. She said placing her hand on my arm.
Lu.... Of course. I replied, as she laid her head on my chest wiggling in close into my body and took my hand in hers. As she fell asleep, I held her close, and yet all I could think about was that night with Qiao and how I was going to tell Lese.
