Chapter 5: You're my little sister okaaay?

Sun Quan touched the doll only to find himself in another flashback, but this time in a kindergarten backyard, a small blonde haired girl was making fun of a petite little boy who had black hair.

The girl shouted “Wanmawu why are you so misewable all the time? (Ranmaru why are you so miserable all the time?)”

‘This...........this is him in kindergarten, oh my gosh, he’s been bullied for this long?’ thought Sun Quan.

The blonde haired girl hit the younger slightly weaker boy then took the ragdoll off of him to examine it.

The girl threw it back at him saying “That’s not your wittle sister, that’s some stupid dolly! Cwybaby! (That’s not your little sister, that’s some stupid doll! Crybaby!)”

“WANJI! GO AWAY! NO WONDER YOU HAVE NO FWENDS, YOU BUWWY OTHERS! WEAVE WANMAWU AWONE! (Yuanji! Go away! No wonder you have no friends, you bully others! Leave Ranmaru alone!)” shouted another voice, a girl with long black hair ran to the two.

“Uh oh, it’s Wianshi! Wanmawu dobbed on me! (Uh oh, it’s Lianshi! Ranmaru told someone!)” said the blonde haired girl who then ran off.

The black haired girl walked to the boy saying “Wanmawu, you don’t need some meanie like Wanji bullying you wike that! It’s hard to stick up for yourself, but that’s when you shout my name. Wet’s go home, I’ll pwotect you on the way. (Ranmaru, you don’t deserve Yuanji bullying you like that! It’s hard to defend yourself, but that’s when you ask me to help you. Let’s go home; I’ll protect you on the way.)”

“My bwothers are always busy, that’s why I only pway with Rin, my wittle sister but you know that it’s a doll now. (My brothers are always busy, hence why I spend time with Rin, although she’s just a doll, but she’s like a little sister to me.)” answered the petite boy.

The little girl said “can I be your wittle sister too? All thwee of us can pway together! (Can I be your friend whose like a sister to you as well? You and Rin won’t have to be so lonely anymore!)”

“Yes” replied the petite boy and the two went home together.

Sun Quan was now back at the library, but this time, lying on the bed,

“How did I get here?” Sun Quan asked.

Taigong Wang Replied “You fainted I got freaked out, this creepy teacher guy managed to calm me down and pick you up and carry you to the bed”

“the ragdoll, it gave me a flashback, I’m slowly starting to figure it out, Ranmaru’s been terribly bullied since he was a small child, the first person to do something about it was Lianshi. But why did it stop; why did Lianshi stop protecting Ranmaru? I believe there is only one person who could possibly give me the answer to that question......Lianshi herself” replied Sun Quan, who then sat up, swinging his legs over the bed, placing his feet onto the chequered carpet, got up and walked to the door,

Mitsuhide followed saying to Taigong Wang “You look after my daughter; we’ll be back as soon as we can, if we aren’t. Send her outside as we are most likely out there, but only if you feel that she is going to be safe”

“Alrighty then” replied Taigong Wang.

Sun Quan and Mitsuhide left the library only to end up stopping Lianshi in her tracks by Sun Quan bumping into her,

“GOOF!” hissed Lianshi.

Sun Quan turned to look at her, offering a hand to help her up saying “Lianshi, just the person I wanted to see, I have some questions”

“And just what are they?” replied Lianshi while accepting the hand,

Sun Quan had determination in his eyes, as he said “let’s head to a classroom, sit down then I’ll ask away, after all that running, I don’t think it’ll sound like a good idea for me to ask you while standing up with no rest”

“Alright” replied Lianshi.

The three walked to a classroom, entered and took seats, Sun Quan sat at a desk near the window, Mitsuhide sat next to him while Lianshi sat three desks away from Sun Quan.

“Wow, you trust me that little?” asked Sun Quan,

Lianshi replied “Yes, I don’t know you, therefore I don’t trust you.”

“I understand, now the questions. Did you have any sort of friendship with Ranmaru when you were in kindergarten?” asked Sun Quan.

Lianshi had tears in her eyes as she replied “Yes, he was like a big brother to me, though I was the more protective one out of the two of us, he was getting bullied by a girl named Wang Yuanji. I had to do something, anything! So I just scared her off. I then told him that he never deserved such poor treatment.

I protected him until we reached middle school; the other girls had the suspicion that I was dating Ranmaru. They called me........names, some of them were horrible, others, I wasn’t even sure whether or not they’re bad.

I had to stop being close to Ranmaru; therefore, I stopped being friends with him. I was never bullied by the other girls again.

Yet I never forgave myself, I mean how could I? I stopped what possibly could be the best thing that has happened to Ranmaru. That’s not something you’d forgive. That’s something you’d resent that person for.

Like you I had a crush on Ranmaru, do not ask how I know your affection for the guy. I caught sight of you staring at him every now and again, you have feelings for him. That’s how I knew. I felt uncontrollable love for Ranmaru.

Gracia pulling Ranmaru further out of reach was unforgivable, that’s why I hate Gracia, until the day I die and I’ll go to my grave saying that Gracia is a bitch”

Sun Quan nodded, pulled out a packet of tissues and chucked them at Lianshi saying “so inside of that evil, miserable shell you made, was a misunderstood caring girl, who wanted nothing more than good fortune for all who knew her.

On the outside you’re an insensitive person, who never considered how Ranmaru felt, but on the inside, you wanted nothing more than to finally see Ranmaru truly smile and bring happiness to his dark depressive mind and to climb every wall the guy built around himself. On the inside, you were just as concerned as I was before Ranmaru vanished.”

“Yes........ I remember before I had to end the friendship, the two of us climbing a tree, sitting down, talking about what high school we’re going to, and what classes we’d have, what we’d study at uni, hell, even how many children we’d have.

He during all of that, smiled, his smile, his blues eyes sparkling while smiling, it would melt the hearts of everyone who saw it.

His family said that it’s a rare find to those outside of his family. I could tell why.

Whenever he smiled, your heart would melt instantly if you were to catch sight of it. But due to all the bullying he had to endure, that beautiful genuine smile was rare.

Now I’ll no longer see that after what I did, I should have tried to mend our friendship we had.” Lianshi cried.

Ranmaru appeared behind her. Sun Quan whispered “Ranmaru?”

Lianshi turned around and softly smiled saying “Ranmaru, I missed you for so long, I’m so sorry for ending our friendship in the past and not bothering to try and fix it, but now that we’re in a different dimension together, we’ll be together, just like we were as little kids. I.....love you Ranmaru”

Ranmaru frowned saying “You’ve fooled yourself; I never liked you in the first place, not after abandoning me in middle school. Now die”

Nobunaga came out of nowhere with his blade and finished off Lianshi who screamed “Ra....RANMARU WHY!” An Item fell from the sky and landed on Sun Quan’s head,

Causing him to have another flashback.
