The Serpents Eyes

Not everyone in town is telling the truth. Colleen then says something quite odd of her, She just asked what if it's one of us.  After sitting together for a while we had no clue of what to do, "So who do you guys think is lying?"Safiya asked us. Under my breath I mutter Joey, I look at the group and just shrugged my shoulders trying to pull off my innocent look an I think it worked.  "I think somebody is lying about their feelings towards people"Rosanna says looking at Daniel. I look at him and he looked shocked, "My feelings for everyone is the same, expect Ly because she is my closest friend/ daughter and Joey since he's my boyfriend." Daniel says placing one of his hands on Joeys  back.  "Teala how do you feel after being put into that challenge?"Joey asked and Teala says she agree's with Colleen on that we can't trust each other. Calliope pulls the map down from the wall and we notice that their is some new areas are opened, called Fat Man Slims. I notice something on the side and read it aloud.  "Beware of snakes. The Serpent's Eyes lie in wait."I say reading the text besides Fat Man Slims. First crazy clowns, now snakes great my two biggest fears all in one night what's next killer dolls! I notice this lady peeking into our meeting, I bump both sides of me and point to the lady. Everyone soon notices and gets up, The woman starts moving away then runs off.  The group go off chasing her, trying to catch her. As we run outside Roi catches her, Joey and Mortimer take her and put her in a chair. We get some rope and tie her up to the chair, Nikita interrogates her trying to get information out of her.  "She was bit!"Joey and a couple others yell, The lady tells us that the snake woman did it and that she stole her husband. Dang, sucking blood and snatching men. Joey asked about the artifact and the lady says something about suit's in the lounge, Calliope says to go check as she watches her.  The team heads back into the lounge and search for any suits that were around. Joey finds these decks of cards, so everyone searches for the symbols on the cards. Safiya finds the clubs,we try to look, but it was hard. Joey places all the cards down and I notice on the back that the cards have lines on them.  I start trying to connect the lines together with the help of Joey. "Hey we need to talk." He mutters under his breath "About what inviting me to a death trap twice killing my best friend and now maybe my dad. You might look like my dad Joey but you are nothing like the sweet, kind, caring, and loving Joey I knew back home." I say trying to focus on the puzzle "I'm sorry I truly am. I'll do anything to make it up to you please just forgive me Ly." He says looking at me with tears in his eyes. Oh gods I feel so bad for him so I come up with an idea "If we ever have a chance to bring someone back you have to promise me PROMISE ME that you will bring back Tyler." I whisper just loud enough for him to hear you he agrees and once we finish connect them it connected to the number eight, we keep looking around. Daniel and Safiya were searching somewhere and I was with Mat, Manny finds this dice with clubs on it.  "Bring it over here"Mat says searching, I look at Mat and bite my lip and look down searching for something. I can't help but feel useless and weak around all these people. Manny gasps, we all look over to see the dice goes straight to clubs when placed inside of the square thing Safiya found.  Someone notices this bottle of perfume with a diamond on it, I grab it and spray it on this board near the entrance of the lounge. It showed a faint map of this room with an X somewhere, We search for this X and the girls found it under the floor.  Each hand has a suit on it, so the group decides we need to put it in the correct order. Mat decides to take the lead on this one. After doing so Mat figures out eight equals hearts, clubs equal one, ten equals diamonds, but we were missing spades.  Colleen, Joey, Safiya, and I find this statue of liberty with a ring. Joey looks through it noticing it connects to another ring, Joey points to this poster and ask what's on there and their was a tiny 5 there, so 5 equals spades. After putting the hands on the correct place the box opens up and we see two stones and a note. Daniel begins to read the note.  This is the second of the wicked artifacts. To cleanse the Serpent's Eyes you must find the head of a great snake, place the eye inside and bathe it in the blood of the serpent's heart.  Basically we have to place the serpent's eyes into a snakes head and bury it in blood. I look at Rosanna and she was shocked, she looked down for a second then looked back up. All of a sudden we hear screaming, we all rush out to see the lady we captured being eaten by a snake.  The snake woman notices us and runs out, so now the lady is dead. "Why don't we check the body"I say and the team agrees searching her body for clues or hints. Daniel finds this note that says meet me at 7:30 from~ Cindy.  Joey takes it and realizes that on the back it's at Fat Man Slims. Well it's time to find out what is behind those doors of Fat Man Slims. We all go out and see Fat Man Slims up ahead we walk towards it, then all of a sudden the snake woman jumps out and bite Roi.  As Roi got bit and Calliope told us we had to make an antidote I got flashbacks to the dinner party. At Joey's dinner party Shane got poisoned and we had to find the antidote, we couldn't save him in time...Roi could die if we aren't quick.   "Doesn't this seem familiar? Doesn't it Ly"Joey whispers to me as we walk towards Fat Man Slims. I looked at Joey and started breathing weirdly, "Wouldn't be surprised if Roi ended up like Shane"Joey whispers smiling in a scary way. Oh my gosh Joey I thought we were cool but I guess not to bad for him. Daniel and I went with Joey, Bad choice.  We walk into Fat Man Slims and I check my watch. "It's almost 7:30"I say looking around, We look around the room to see if anything suspicious was around. Manny goes upstairs and screams, "What's wrong?"I ask looking upstairs.  I then notice that their are eyes looking right at Manny. He tells us what if we want a package then we need to find the password. Nikita and I find this gold box with a lock with three numbers on it, "Try seven three zero"Daniel says.  Joey nods and tries it out on the box, and the box opens. In the box we find a bunch of cash and a post it note saying use the photos to get the password, the photos were different photos taken at different parts of the bar.  We try to figure out what to do and Safiya says we should look in the places the photos were taken.  We look around at the parts of the bar the photos had, Nikita insisted we re create the photos so we do so. Nikita was on the pole while Joey threw money at her. Gross I guess Daniel thought it was bad to so he covered my eyes and mentally I take note to thank Daniel later. While we were doing that snake woman opened up those doors, we all hid in the back of that room we were in. Manny opens the door and we sneak out, but the snake woman caught up to us, bit Teala and took her away. After Teala got taken we keep trying to figure out what to do. Manny finds the word cold, Safiya finds a cigarette pack that says green and Nikita finds the words snakes under a table. We had all the words, but not the order and as we were trying to figure it out Joey finds numbers on them.  We put the photos in order and put the corresponding colors with them. We got Green Snakes ___ Cold grass, we were only missing one letter.  After a few minutes Safiya figures out the password and a man walks in from down the stairs, and two men walk in holding something under a curtain. Curtain's are never a good sign, mainly in horror scenario's and it's clear we are in one. The man tells us to each get a card.The dude pulls off the sheet and it was a tower of blocks. He tells us to play normally, find the gold block and place it on the stool. However, if the tower falls when you pull the wrong block you are immediately sent to the death challenge.  Nikita was first and decided to pull the first block. We keep going, but we couldn't find the gold block. When Teala went the group was rushing her to choose a block, soon it was my turn which happened to be Joeys turn as well.  "I'll go, I won't let you get sent in"He says holding my hand, Jesus Joey either your chill and we're cool or you evil and want to kill me. Choose a side Joseph, but I nod as he looks at the blocks. Roi said he could just jump in for exchange of Joey saving his life, Nikita being the bold troublemaker she was kept pushing Roi to do so since he's the daredevil.  Roi took her bait and pulled a random block, and it ended up falling over. Roi grabs a totally random block and handed it to Nikita, We search for the gold piece and Safiya finds it. She places it on the stool and the chest opens up, Manny places the serpent's head on the table. I place the serpent's eyes in the head and Colleen finds a note, and reads it.  To finish cleansing the artifact, Two must be selected by vote and search the innards of a serpent to claim it's heart. Joey pulls me away and Nikita pulls Mat with us. We split into two groups: Joey, Daniel, Me, Safiya, Teala, Rosanna, Roi and Manny on one side and the rest of us on the other.  As we discuss who should be put in Nikita gets up and says that both Teala and Roi should be put in. She's starting to bring up a lot of tension between this group and it makes me...want to vote her in. She just reminds me to much of Gabbie trying to cause drama and get people to hate her and let me just say it's working however... I just didn't want to get into as much trouble as it's getting.  We all put in our votes, I chose Teala.  Nikita and Roi both got picked in, so after talking they both leave and now everyone was there waiting for one of them to return.  I sat there thinking about what could happen. My mind is flooded with thoughts on what we need to do, I look at the girls discussing among themselves something. They were far from us, but kept turning back and looking at Joey. As we waited Rosanna starts crying, She tells us that she was one of the people that voted Nikita in. I look at Manny and he seemed a little ticked off ok that's a lie he looked a lot ticked off, Mortimer and Calliope walk in. Calliope had Nikita's jacket, I sat there horrified.  Oh my god Nikita died she was one of our best players. Welp were all dead now. Then Nikita walks in holding the heart. "NIKITA!"Most of us yell of happiness. Nikita places the cleansed artifact on the shelf Teala says that her and Roi found a sun and a note that says place me on the horizon. We all look around, Colleen points to a horizon.  Teala puts the sun there and a secret box opens up, Colleen and Teala reads the note.  Inside lies the harp of Lazarus. However the box can only be opened by finding two brass coins that are hidden throughout Everlock and require an additional task to obtain. Wait Lazarus oh gosh he was some dude from the Bible his story might be useful to know what his story was. Lazarus,Lazarus,Lazarus,Lazarus. Then my heart stops Lazarus was famous for coming back from the dead. "We might be able to bring someone back from the dead." I say not meaning to say it out loud but whatever. It might be true.
