Chapter 17

Kim Taehyung POV

It's 10:45pm I really want to text Y/N right now. Im not sure why but lately she has been on my mind. I'm not sure if I have feelings for her or if she is just a friend, but I wanna be there by her side.

Its late at night, she is probably sleeping. I started to imagine her soft brown hair and bangs, her cute cheeks and s/c tone.(s/c is skin color btw)

I'll text her tomorrow I said smiling to myself.

Y/N POV

That night Ga-Eul and I spilled lots of tea and caught up since we weren't really allowed to talk much in work because we are always busy and our schedules are full.

"So remember that new exchange student from America, Natalie, the one I told you about?" She paused.

Just to rewind. Ga-Eul goes to a International school where English is the dominant language and Students all over the world come to study. It isn't as prestigious as ShinHwa but its an admirable school. I used to go to the same school as her, ever since kindergarten.

"Uh huh" You responded lying flat on your back atop of Ga-Euls bed while staring at the ceiling.

"Guess what, she is now dating Jae-beom from class 9." She reported in an annoyed manner. "Wait, really?" You asked shocked but yet again, you expected it. He was a playboy after all.

Your phone buzzed. You lazily grabbed it from Ga-Euls nightstand and sat down on the edge of her bed. She was on the floor, busy painting her nails with a nude polish.

I looked at my phone 9:55 and I still have a message? Your eyes traced down your phone. 2 missed text messages from Seokjin. "OH SHOOT" you exclaimed in realization. You were supposed to check on him about staying over starting Thursday until Monday Night.

"What happened?" Your bff inquired. "Oh nothing, Jin just texted me." I said under my breath. 

You replied to his confermation of staying at Jin's House along with the others. "Wait Kim Seokjin, The Kim Seokjin?" She asked. You nodded.

"OMG REALLY?!" She squealed. She saw him before in the shop when he and RM came for lunch one weekend.

"Speaking of the seven most cutest guys at your school, did you put in a good word about me for Jungkook?" She asked. "Hmm not yet but i can tell you he is really sweet once you get to know him but the first few times were rough." You explained.

"Girls go to sleep its 10:50" Mrs. Chu said while knocking on the door. "But ma it's the weekend." Ga-Eul whined. Mrs. Chu opened the door. "You have a guest and plus you girls are gonna get acne, k now goodnight."

You and Ga-Eul looked at each other and giggled softly once Mrs. Chu was out the door. You both cleaned up your mess and put away the nail polish and sketchpads.

You picked up your nightlight, plugged it in and set your smartphone along with your bff's phone on the stand.

You both climbed into bed. You slept on the bottom of the trundle bed. You recalled your childhood memories as both of you would stay up till 8:45 which was considered late since our bedtime was 8:00 sharp.

 You two would talk about all the princesses in the fairytales and movies and called dibs on which princes.

*Flashback to when you 4 years old

"I call Prince Philip." Ga-Eul excaimed. "He's purrfect." She swooned while hugging her book

"But I also want Prince Phillip." You whined, not wanting to share. "Its ok, I have Prince Charming so I'm good." You said reading the story of Cinderella on your level 2 book. 

"No fair, I also wanna have him too." Ga-Eul complained. "But you also have Prince Philip." You explained.

You two were about to get in a feud until Mrs. Chu came in and told us the story about Mulan and how we didn't need a prince and that was an added bonus.

I'm 18 and I still don't have a prince but I guess I'm fine with that I thought as I smilled at the memory and drifted to sleep
