Y/N POV | Airport

I stood outside the pickup area with Uncle Jace waiting for the car. My gaze travelled over to him as he took a quick glance over his watch.

Uncle Jace was the only person I trusted. He treated me like his daughter ever since my parents died. He was like a best friend and a father to me. Uncle taught me how to handle the company business, but I never really took over the company. I left it for him to handle. I wish a day will come when an urge will push me to take over the company.

"Oh there's our car." He quickly opened the door for me and signalled the guards to place in the luggage inside the trunk. In no time, we got ourselves moving.

"You didn't have to do that, Jay." I comfortably sat back, looking outside the window.

"There you go again. Y/N listen to me, I'm getting married. Meaning that sooner or later you will have to take over the company."

I sighed. I never like having this conversation. Never..

"You have to understand. I already prepared you for everything. You know 10x more than a normal CEO do."

I looked at him and found his eyes filled with worries. I rolled my eyes, looking back outside the window.

"I still don't know. I'll think about it."

"No Y/N, you will and I'll make you."

We both entered the house and was suddenly greeted by a bunch of maids lined up and a Butler by the end, standing close to us.

"Welcome home, Sir Li. As well as you, Miss Li." He bowed and so did I.

"This is where you're going to live, Y/N."

"Here?"

"Yes Miss Li. This was your parent's house. Their pictures are still up. Some of them are hidden inside their room."

I nodded, understanding his explanation. My gaze wandered around examining how big and neat the house was.

"Oh right. Y/N, I want you to meet Mr. Zheng. He is the Butler of this house and was your father's personal Butler."

I glanced over the Butler as he smiles. I smile replaces my lips as I gaze over the maids.

"From now on, I allow ALL of you to call me by my normal name."

Everyone looks up in surprise. I slowly took a deep breath and faced Jay.

"Everything is set. You'll come with me tomorrow."

"Where are we going?"

"To get you enrolled in a new school. So I suggest, you go to sleep now."

With that, I watched him exit the door. So I decided to go up too.

"Y/N. Let the maids bring your stuff up."

"No, I'm fine." I slowly carried my luggage, stair by stair until I reached my room. Closing the door behind, I plopped down my bed letting myself fall asleep.

Next Day | In The Car

I stared down at my phone, surfing through the web while listening to music. The sun reflects down my screen, making me look up, out the window;

The road way going left, beside us was empty. Not until someone random car came. Not just a car though. It was looking lit. I stared in a daze, examining the whole thing in front of me.
