Y/N POV

I slowly followed my uncle behind, until he suddenly stops. I quickly looked up and found my uncle hugging somebody. So instead, I decided to finally step aside, giving them some space.. until,

"You?!" My gaze moves somewhere else, which made me regret my decision of coming here.

Xukun!; But what is he doing here?!

"You?!", I responded back at him. We both locked our eyes together, glaring in anger.

Uncle Jace POV

We uncles both stared at them, glaring at each other. I already felt the strong aura forming around them. It was a bit surprising to see Y/N like this. Never in my whole life did I see her acting this way.

I'm the only person who knows her fully. She grew up with me and not her real parents. Not with my brother and my sister-in-law. She grew up without someone to stand beside her.

"Uhm... You guys know each other already?"

The walls around them suddenly broke as they averted from each other's gazes. I sighed in relief and suddenly felt a nudge on my arm.

"Oh, right. Y/N, I want you to meet someone. Y/N, this is Mr. Cai and this young handsome man is--" "Xukun..."

Silence surrounds the four of us.

Did she eat anything unusual today? Or is she sick?

"Ahem.. Anyways, since you know him already. Let me introduce you to my niece--"

"Y/N..."

Xukun POV

I already knew her. The new transfer student. I had to decide which Class building she would take. Surprisingly, Class A...

"Are we just going to stand here?" I grabbed my drink on the table, taking a sip.

"Actually, Mr. Li and I prepared a room for us four."

"It's better if we continue this conversation when we get there."

"Let's just get this over with."

I leaned back on my chair, making myself comfortable. Finally some peace...

"Uncle Jay, why even are we here?; And what's with this dress you prepared?", Y/N asked in confusion.

I rolled my eyes, landing it on my uncle. He seemed nervous for some reason, but at the same time, I felt a bit of happiness coming from him.

"Anyways, our company and the Cai's company had some agreement on something important..."

"Something you both might not like, but since we just found out... You two don't have any choice to disagree or back out."

"Just get to the point, Uncle Mike."

I suddenly became irritated and impatient, slamming my hands on the table. Everyone suddenly got startled by my action as my uncle signalled me to calm down. I sighed in frustration and closed my eyes for a bit.

"Just keep going.. I'm listening..."

Y/N POV

I stared at Xukun in a bit of surprise. Was he this grumpy?

My eyes focused on him for a moment. On the other hand, I felt my uncle taking something out. He suddenly slammed it on the table, startling us once again. I glared at him in annoyance.

"Can you please be gentle?! I'm starting to get jumpy here!"

"Xukun, you still remember the robbery from your parent's house?"
