Rosie's POV

My name's Rosie. I'm 16 years old. I'm a sophomore in high school. All the freshman that came in this year have been sucky bitches. But there was this one that caught my attention.

She reminded me of... well me. When I was first here, people would bully me, beat me up, pull weapons on me, sometimes threatening my life. In fact, that still happens on a daily bases.

But she was hella quiet and didn't have much friends but I wanted to know why.

Our schools weird and they combine everyone's lunch together. We have a school with around 700 people in it and they just have us together.

This particular lunch, I noticed she was getting taunted by some freshman. And I knew I could take a freshman on. I can also take anyone on but when they gang up on me and sneak up on me or pull weapons on me, then I'm pretty weak.

I overhead some of the shit they were saying to her when I was looking for a seat. It made me wanna kill them all and hope they burn in the deepest pits of hell without any chance of leaving.

"Aww what's wrong? Poor Deliah is crying? Yea and your mom left you cause you're a crybaby ass pussy." He laughed.

"Sup bitch." I confronted him.

"Oh are you gonna help us with this dumb little Deliah?" He smiled at me.

"Help? You disgust me. You're just mad no girl wants your tiny ass dick so you take it out on innocent bystanders." I pushed him.

"Oh yea? Well you're just a stupid girl who doesn't know how to fight! You pussy!" He pushed me to the ground.

His friends started laughing which angered me. So what did I do? I did what any rational person would do. I stood up, chuckled a bit, grabbed the expired yogurt that came with my meal, and poured it on him.

"You whore!" He yelled at me.

"Haha! You dumb bitch. Get out of my face you sick bastard before I actually hurt you." I pushed his face away and set next to the girl I now know as Deliah.

"Hey. Thanks for that. They've been messing with my for a couple months and it hurts that people can be so cruel." She wiped her tears away.

"No problem. I can't stand bullies. I get jumped every single day. See." I showed her some bruises on my face.

The ones I could never show her were the ones on my arms. I've resorted in self harm as a way to get my mind off of things. She looked shocked when she saw the bruises.

"And your mom doesn't care?"

"Eh. She doesn't have time to really focus on that stuff. She goes to work from four to five, making me drive home. Then she goes to parties until ten and goes to bed. I'm my own mother since my dad left me when I was five." I got really deep there.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry." A look of sympathy washed over her face.

"Ah. No. It's fine." I chuckled. "Hey, at least I know how to drive so I can drive myself anywhere I want."

"I think I've seen you in my neighborhood." She brought up.

"Oh. Really? I can drive you home and we can hang out if you'd like." I suggested.

"Yay! I'd love too." She smiled.
