It took a long time for the students at Quinn's High School to get used to her disorder. No one was particularly mean about it, but by the time the blonde was a senior, freshmen and sophomores were still shocked that there was a mute girl in their school. It's not like she was a secret either.
From the time she was four she was followed around by camera crews, newspaper reporters and famous doctors, who were all curious as to why she couldn't talk.
No one had an answer.
It's not that Quinn couldn't figure out how to talk- because she was really a very intelligent girl- she just couldn't.
It didn't matter how many vocal cord surgeries she underwent, how many speech therapists she saw and how many times she urged herself to speak; her body just didn't allow her to talk.
However, by the time she was ten, things had calmed down considerably. She could live as a normal girl, without having to worry about being called down to the main office in school every five seconds to be interviewed by some news team.
Soon enough, she was going out on dates, going to football games, and being voted president of every club she was in. It was like Quinn was the voice of the McKinley High Students. Well, it was something like that.
She was treated normally and it honestly felt terrific. With the exception of a few teachers and students who thought she was deaf-mute and yelled every word in her face, school was alright.
And it went on like this until Quinn was a senior, and her best friend picked up a piece of ass that was hotter than anything she could ever imagine, and Quinn fell for that piece of ass.
Slowly but surely, Quinn was swept into a tailspin of emotions all because of that girl: Rachel something.
