As most of you know, I am a fan of BTS and I guess KPOP.
On my profile, you guys can see I have asked a question about them and I would like to see your answers on this book.
The question is:
If BTS, Blackpink, NCT 127, Red Velvet, or any other KPOP group would be popular if they weren't Korean?
It's very interesting because if you think about it, BTS or Blackpink or any other KPOP band aren't that different from a American bands.
To be honest the only difference between KPOP bands and American bands are that they only speak Korean and they can dance well.
Most bands in America don't do a lot of dancing except PRETTYMUCH which is a group I believe deserves more attention.
But now since KPOP is becoming more popular in America, I have started to think of this question more and more.
I feel like they won't because though I am a fan myself, KPOP groups are kinda of a commodity.
I don't want to be rude to you all die hard KPOP fans but if they weren't Korean... they wouldn't be popular. Which is a FACT you can't deny it.
Sorry for this rant tbh I will continue to like KPOP groups but yeah it's very interesting to see your answers.
