Chapter 2

After school the girls and I went over to Jessica's house to start practice. Can I just say HOLY FUCKING SHIT because she has a huge damn house. We went to her music room that was also big. "What song are we going to play?" I asked. "We could play what's trending right now" said Bianca. "We could also add a little bit of old school as well cause why not right" said Audrey. I got a call from Jason and told the girls that I'll be right back.
"What happened Jason I'm kind of busy practicing for the competition right now". "That's what I want to talk about". "Can you go put me on speaker phone so the rest of the girls can hear?". I went back to the music room and told them that my brother was on speaker phone, so they can hear as well. "What is it Jason we are kind of busy practicing for the competition". They all know my brother cause they all met him in a big party that happened right before school started. "Some guy named Mr. John  came to our school also and looking for a guys band". " So you will be competing against not only girls from your school but guys from my school". My whole body froze for a couple of seconds. There is a chance that we could be competing against boys? Did Mr.Brown know this and not tell us so we don't have to be more worried than we already are? The girls looked at each other in confusion and then Jessica said "alright we need to start stepping our game up". "Thanks did the heads up Jason" said Audrey. I hung up the phone and started to rap because I always do that when I'm nervous.
"Well damn Avery I see you rapping" Bianca said. "I can't believe I'm saying this but you got some mother fucking bars bitch". I can't believe that I got a compliment from Jessica because she rarely talks to me. "We should make up an original song instead" I said. " I feel like the boys will be doing something trending anyways" I added. "She's right we have to be different" Audrey added. "So will make up the lyrics" said Jessica. "I have an idea" I said . "How about Audrey and I will work on the lyrics in since we are both singing and then when we are done you and Bianca can do the music notes". " I honestly like the idea and what other choice do we have" Bianca said. "Alright then so Audrey and I will start with the lyrics tomorrow" .
It's a Wednesday and Audrey and I have got some of the lyrics done. We are planning to make the song about a minute or two long. We only have a minute and a half left and thats my part. The song is how a guy cheated on a girl and the girl is trying to forget him because of that. I had some trouble thinking about some lyrics, but after a little bit of thinking I finally got it finished. I FaceTimed Audrey so she can hear my part of the song. "Damn girl you got bars"she said. "In since we  have our part done we need to let Bianca and Jessica hear it so we can put it all together" Audrey said. Time went by so fast because today is the day that Mr.Brown hears our song and I'm nervous for my part. I keep reminding myself that we worked our asses of and that we would do fine, but for some reason I feel like that I would fuck up.
