The guns fired missed their target as he raced through the woods. His heavy panting hurt his lungs and his left hand clutched his prize and in his right was his beloved scalpel. Loud sirens screeched into his ears, making him growl in annoyance. " STOP RIGHT THERE!" Police men shouted repeatedly while firing their guns. But as before, each of the bullets missed and their target ran faster and faster. Seconds felt like hours and his sight before blurred. Hunger tore at his stomach like a claw, making him groan. The noise soon poured away, Eyeless Jack was now safe. He lifted his mask up to show his mouth, he gasped for air that escaped his lungs. Jack looks down at the kidney he had stolen from a woman walking home after trying to hook up with men who drove by. Jack's vision was completely gone, without eating he couldn't see.

Jack brings the organ to his mouth, sinking his into the flesh. Blood squirted onto his face, some onto his clothing. But he didn't mind, he loved it more than anything. Finishing, Jack's vision returns to him. Jack, satisfied with his work, sighs in relief. Then, Jack notices he didn't remember this part of the woods.  Jack looks around, the tree's were so different, he didn't know if they were a different type or if they were older than the ones he was used to. Jack begins to walk forward, trying to find the sign he had nailed on a tree in case something like this would happen. Then again, this was the first time he had ever got lost in these woods.  ' I'm lost. But I know this place so well..' Jack thinks to himself, putting his mask down. Jack then hears movement from the tree tops, leaves being moves and quiet chuckling. Jack shouts, only for the movement to stop.

" Need help?"

" Who's there?!" Jack shouts, only for the person who spoke just a second ago to shush him. " It's not a good idea to shout in these parts." The voice says. " What do you want?" Jack asks, trying to look around for the person who had he voice, but couldn't see them. " Just want to help, you look a little lost there blind boy." The voice says, Jack looks up to the trees. Their stood a teenage boy, but he wasn't human. He had snow white skin, dark rings around his aqua blue eyes, a carved smile in his cheeks, white hoodie with blood stains, and black dress pants. His jet black hair was to his shoulder blades, which Jack had never seen before. " I'm not always blind, even if I was I could still kick you into next year so don't even try anything!" Jack threatens, causing the pale boy to chuckle. " Yeah yeah, sure. I'm Jeff The Killer by the way." The boy says, jumping off the branch he was standing on.

He grunts and he hits the ground, then he stands and smiles. " Why do you want to help me?" Jack asks, tilting his head. Jeff chuckles again, " Cause your a killer like me, I respect that." Jack blinks in surprise, this kid was killer too? " So, I see your a little lost. You live around here?" Jeff asks, knocking Jack out of his thoughts. " East- South side." Jack mumbles. " I know where that is, follow me." Jeff says, starting to walk away. Jack thinks about killing Jeff right here and know, but he would probably die of hunger when he never finds a way out. Jack sighs, starting to follow Jeff. As they walked through the woods, Jack would look down at Jeff, him being inches taller than Jeff. " Where do you live?" Jack asks, startling Jeff by the question. " I live in the North side of the woods." Jeff answers, not making eye contact.  " What's your name?" Jeff asks.

" Eyeless Jack."

Jeff chuckles, " So you don't have eyes? Is that the joke?" Jack's hand clenches into a fist. " My father tore them out and sacrificed me." Jack says bluntly. Jeff was shocked by this answer and was quiet. The same quiet poured over them, though this time it was more uncomfortable for them both. Jack soon saw the tree with a piece of cutting wood nailed to it. " I can go from here." Jack says, Jeff stops in his tracks. " Got it..well...if you get lost again, I should be around." Jeff says, faking a smile to ignore the awkward feeling he felt. Jack walks away, heading back to the small cave he lives alone in. The locusts made their loud but soft sounds with the grasshoppers, which calmed Jack's nerves from the weird encounter. As Jack found his cave and walked inside to rest, he couldn't get his mind off the killer he met. Was he trying to be nice or try to kill Jack? Why was he so quiet?

Jeff made his way back to his cabin. Unlocking the door should have been easy, but his mind was playing tricks on him. This made Jeff's anxiety return and his hands began to tremble out of control. Jeff did manage to unlock the door and go inside. Jeff throws the keys on the coffee table, he sits on the couch while grabbing the remote. Jeff turns the TV on, the news was on. The news reporter had a feared look on her face as she was reporting about a murder that happened not too long ago. A women with in a short dress was lying bloody on the street, the small part of her stomach where a kidney usually lied was gone.
