Unexpected love

We meet again

"How are you,miss Lloyd?" ask a familer voice Emily. Emily open her eyes and met the emerald eyes she feel she know so well. "It is you" Emily exclaim confused. She did not think she will see Clare again. "Where am I?" Emily ask after she look around her suroundings and does not regonise the place where she laid. "You are in the hospital. You have been in a terible acident you are luckly to be alive. I am your doctor Clare Dix who will help you if you need anything. You have another doctor as well that will be working with your results of blood tests and more." Clair inform Emily. "You are a doctor? Wow I did not know that. Am I going to be okay?" Emily ask everything on her mind. "You got hurt real badly but I will try to keep you alive" Clare said with a little giggle and a smile on her lips to clear the tense atmosphere. "Thank you doctor for everything" Emily said. "Your welcome Miss Lloyd. Clare said with a smile. Claire turn around to walk out when she said "It is good to see you again but not under a great surcumstances." Emily could not help to smile. She saw Clare again. She look so beautifull in her uniform like a real heartbreaker doctor. Maybe Clare must help Emily fix her heart after she lost it on her hot pool player doctor. She knew she will see Clare not often but atleast once a day.

That is what she thought well she was wrong. In the first two days Clare only came once a week. In the next days she would come in more often with stupid excuses like she have left her pen or she forgot to ask something. She will stay for 15 minutes and they will talk about random things. One day Clare came in and said" hey sorry I forgot my pen again how silly of me" she said with a smile on her face. "Doctor you do not need to make up excuses to see me" Emily teases Clare. Clare starts to turn red. "Fine you got me red handed. I'm sorry I won't bother you again, but you will miss me" Clare say mocking  Emily with a sparkle in her eyes. "I think you will miss me more if you leave. I'm just too cute" Emily said teasing and bite her lip to provent her from smiling. Clare just start to laugh and her eyes turned soft. Emily caught Clare staring at her lips. "I have other patience. I need to go. I will see you again tomorrow miss Lloyd. "You may have other patience but I am by far your favourite  patience. You can call me Emily. Miss Lloyd is way too formal" Emily said confidence . "I am not allowed to to have favourites patience. Al right Emily" Clare said while making her way to the door. "You can always loose your pen more often so that I can see you more." Emily try to flirt. Clare turn around and smile "I will defently  do that more if I could but you are my patience . It is not legal and allowed. I would have love to get to know you better and spend time with you but that would not be pratical and provesional so I'm sorry Emily. "Then get me another docter" said Emily seriously. "What? I can not do that." Clare said suprise.  "Sorry I have to go now" Clare said disapointed.

4 days went pass where Claire only saw her once a day again and it will only be for a view seconds to see if  Emily need anything.The next day a new doctor with blond hair and brown eyes came to Emily"s bed. "Good morning miss Lloyd. I am doctor Smith . I will be your new doctor" the male doctor say. "Why? What is wrong with doctor Dix?" Emily ask worriedly that something happend to Clare. "Doctor Dix is fine she just ask me to be your doctor from now on. I hope it is okay miss Lloyd." Emily was defistating that she won't see Clare anymore. Emily wonder why she did not want to be her doctor anymore. Did she do something wrong? Did she upset her? As if doctor Smith could see all the questions in her eyes he said:" you did not do anything wrong it is not your fault thar doctor Dix is not your doctor anymore." Emily just nod her head and let doctor Smith go on with his job and see if everything is good.

That after noon Clare walk in Emily's hospital room with a teddy in in hands. "Hey, how are you? Here are something small for you " Clare said awkward trying to avoid eye contact. "Wow thank you doctor that is so sweet of you" Emily said with a small smile. "Please call me Clare I am not your doctor anymore, remember"Clare say with a smirk on her face. "Why are you not my doctor anymore did I do something wrong?"Emily ask the question on her mind. "Of course not. I just did not feel comfertable being your doctor. I want to get to know you better. You seem like an amazing women and I just felt something with you. So I ask for not being your doctor anymore so that I can see you and not just as a patient." Emily could not help to smile at Clare's honest reply.  "What do you want to get to know about me?" Emily ask with a tease in her tone. Emily and Clare talk for a long time before Clare say she have to get back to work. Emily can't stop to smile she have never feel like this before.

The next week noon Doctor Smith came to Emily to tell her the good news that she can go home after a month in the hospital. Emily was glad to hear that she had enough of hospital food and want to sleep in her own bed. Emily did not have a car anymore because her car was written of in the car accident . She did not how to get home. She called Amy to hear if she could give her a ride. "Sorry Em I can't I have an important meeting. Emily still wonder how she will get home when Clare walk cheerful trough the door. "I hear a certain women need a lift home" Clare say with a smirk. "What are you going to be my new taxi driver" Emily say teasing. Clare help Emily to pack and to get in the car . Clare ask for the adres and they drive in comfortable silence. Emily close her eyes and feel how Clare is staring at her. Emily start to smile. After 5 minutes Clare anounced that they have arrived at her home.

"Would you like to come in?" Emily ask unsure. Clare shake her head and follow Emily in her house.
