Fi's Return

The past...

"Link, these are not your memories." Impa explained,"a very long time ago a demon kind attacked the land of hyrule. The goddess hylia felt it necessary to raise a piece of land into the air. This land mass was named Skyloft." Impa took a deep breath,"this demon king was called Demise, after he was defeated by the hero of sky he cursed him and the princess with the blood of the goddess with his dying breath."
Impa then read a passage out of the book, "Extraordinary. You stand as a paragon of your kind, human. You fight like no man or demon I have ever known. Though this is not the end. My hate...never perishes. It is born anew in a cycle with no end! I will rise again! Those like you... Those who share the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero... They are eternally bound to this curse. An incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time!" She set the book aside and looked at the Knight and the princess," We do not know how to break the curse, but we keep fighting."
Zelda's pale face alarmed link. He looked at Zelda and put his hand on her shoulder. She seemed weak. Paya walked into the room again and saw the princess's sickly state and took her to sit down. Link went to go take care of the horses before going to the inn with Zelda.
"Hello," Zelda said walking up behind link.
Link turned around and met her emerald green eyes. Link felt his face go warm with blood and looked at the mane of the brunette horse petting her mane. Zelda's face flushed mildly. Zelda walked past link to her horse and brushed the white stallion.
"Would you like to go to the inn?" Link said trying to keep the sentance as short as possible.
Zelda nodded and walked with link. As they entered the inn the beds were mostly occupied. Link approached the desk.
"M-may I help you" the Secretary said with a tired voice.
"May we get two beds?" Link replied,
"There's only one bed open" the Secretary said gesturing his hand towards the open bed in the corner of the room. Zelda's face turned beet red.
"That's alright" link said with a smile.
Zelda looked shocked. Link payed and turned to Zelda.
"You get the bed" he smiled at her
Nodded her head and nervously headed to bed and quickly fell asleep. Link waited for her to fall asleep. When she did he set the master sword in his lap and sat in the cold corner between the bed and the wall. As he rested his head on the matress occupied by zelda his mind drifted of into sleep.
