Closer // Taehyung Fanfiction

Chapter 6

Well, it's the next day. Friday!! The day our little friend group would go out and have fun, then sleepover Sihyun's house or something. But that's obviously not happening, Aeyoung probably used us and Taehyung is mad at me for no reason.

I stayed up all night because I couldn't stop thinking. What's wrong with Aeyoung? And Taehyung!? I could ask Jimin about Taehyung, but Jimin would probably tell Taehyung.

Maybe I could talk with Namjoon? No, he's out of high school already. I could talk with Jungkook, maybe. He's been one of my best friends for 10 years. I really haven't talked to him in awhile. Maybe he could tell me what's wrong with Taehyung.

*Tiny Time School ~ Before School*

I look for Jungkook down the hallway he usually goes, since he's in the grade below me. I finally spot him and yes! He's not with Jimin or Taehyung! I race towards him, but we don't have time to talk.

"Bunny! Chubby bunny!" I yelled in his direction, attracting the attention of some other people, but I don't care. He turns around and turns a little red from all the people looking at me.

"Y-yes Y/N?" Jungkook asked in a curious tone. He got even more flustered when people started looking at him. I think they realized I was from the senior class.

"Bunny, Taehyung's been ignoring me for no reason since Sunday. I don't understand boys, so could you help me? Please? A boy would know a boy best.. right?" I blurted out at him. His face lost it's strange red color and he looked absolutely confused.

"Why didn't you just ask Jimin or Sihyun?" He questioned me, his eyebrows furrowing and a smirk growing on his face. "What makes me so special?"

If I was drinking something, I would've choked on it when he said that. My face turned a nice shade of red, a shade that made Jungkook satisfied with his response. He smirked even more when I couldn't get out an answer right away.

"F-first of all, Jimin would've told Taehyung everything. Even if I begged him not to tell Taehyung anything. A-and I didn't go to Sihyun because we haven't talked in awhile. S-so I was hoping w-we could get lunch together talk all this over. Please. For me." I begged him, probably embarrassing him but who cares.

"So you wanted to talk to me? The kid from the class below you instead of someone in your class?" He questioned me once again. Now he was just smirking and raising his voice enough so other people could hear him.

"Seriously Bunny? You're gonna be like this? If this is how you're going to act, I'll go ask Namjoon or Hoseok during lunch break. Maybe even Yoongi or Seokjin." I replied to his smart comment, turning around and crossing my arms.

"C'mon Y/N, I'm only teasing you. We can go to our spot and talk so you don't have to go with your university buddies." He said in a sort-of desperate voice. I turned around and hugged him tight. Even though I am older than him, he's bigger than me which surprises me. Like, a lot bigger.

"Eee~ Thank you, thank you, thank you Bunny!! I'll get you banana milk for life! Thank you!!" I basically screamed in happiness. Not only from him accepting my challenge with Taehyung, but also because we get to hang out in the first time in forever!

I hurried back to my section of the school and went into class all smiley. Jungkook has that effect on me, he's one of my best friends! And he looks exactly like a baby bunny!

I walked in practically skipping and sat down, daydreaming about how this showdown will go down. It's a fun little thing to think about. I zoned out for a bit, thinking of everything that could happen. Well, I zoned out for awhile because the teacher yelled at me for zoning out for about an hour.
