You wake up to the sound of your alarm clock going off, your favorite song plays and you get dressed. You unplugged the clock and rolled up your sleeping bag and you carefully put it in a crate with a lamp and your alarm clock. Your room was all packed up, some of your stuff was already gone. I mean, your moving from a house in Dallas to a house in the small downtown area of California! You get down stairs and smile at your mother “morning mom!” you wave and get a snack.
“go get in the car please dear! We will be leaving soon!” your mother smiles and you nod. You run outside and get in the car. Your mother was going to drive herself and you to the home while your father packed up the rest of the packable furniture. It took you and your mother almost two days to make it to California. But hey! At least you made it!You had to have your mother help you move your bed into place, but from there it was a breeze setting up your new room!
“Dinner is in fifteen minutes!” your mother shouts from the kitchen. You sat on your bed and pulled out your phone, your phone was quite cracked. You had dropped it many times but it still ran fine so you never wanted a new one, plus.. You didn't want to put the pressure of saving money up for a new phone for you on your parents, you never really had a ton of money, you had been saving up for this house for a LOOOOONNNNG time. You decided to head outside and check what your backyard looked like. You look over and see this girl, she had brown hair and these black marks and horns. Her eyes were blue and red and her pupils.. They were so strange! “hello!” You smile and wave she looks at you “h-hello”
It was obvious, this girl was quite shy! “I'm y/n” you smile
“I'm Lucy.. Also known as the freak downtown” she responds shyly.
