Unrequited love.

Chapter 12.

Taehyung's POV

Already months had passed and I'm finally back here in Korea, alone. Jung Eunbi decided not to go back in Korea and will continue her life there, abroad.

Things doesn't work out between us as we were staying there, I tried so hard to love her like I did before but I can't, my heart now belongs to the person who's been there since day one, through ups and downs, who knows me very well, who loves me like no one else does, who's been my best friend, Hwang Eunbi.

(Flashback)
It's been three months since I left Korea and stay here at America with Eunbi, she was doing well and getting treatment for her to get better, slowly but surely she is getting better. But there is one thing that is not getting better and that is our relationship to one another.
I tried so hard to love her, Trust me, I did but I just can't. My heart doesn't belong to her anymore, it's really hard to love that person again, who used to make you smile before when you already love someone else that making you smile now.

It was afternoon, We both just got back from her treatment, I was sitting on the couch and she settled herself across me, she was looking at me.

"You don't really love me anymore, Am I right?" She asks, I can tell from her face that she's hurt. "It's been three months since you left Korea but you didn't leave your feelings for Eunbi behind." She continued, I was just silently listening to her. "Talking to her is no use, because even if she decided for you to go with me here, to stay with me here. She still has your heart. I missed you, even if we are always together for three months already. I missed you every day, I wanted you back to me but I guess it's too late for me. Hwang Eunbi already owned your heart that used to be owned by me." Her eyes started to get watery, "Sounds great that Eunbi owns your heart because it's sounds like it was me because our name were the same." She smiles faintly, "but it hurts so bad, Taehyung. It really does."

"I'm sorry." That was the words came out of my mouth, "I tried. I swear I tried but.." she cut my words, "You can go back now in Korea." She said without looking at me, "I'll stay here." She looks at me then she smiles with pain written on her face. I feel bad, she doesn't deserves this. I stood up and walks toward her, hugged her. "I'm really sorry, Eunbi. I really do." That's when she started crying so hard, I tighten my hug to comfort her for one last time.

It was afternoon and finally I'm back here at my house, both of my parents were surprised that I'm back from abroad, After changing my clothes and placing my bags inside my room, I'm now ready to surprise my other friends, especially Eunbi.
I went to the living room to my parents i'll be out to surprise my friends, "Mom, Dad. I'll just gonna go and surprise my friends. I bet they already missed their handsome friend." I grinned.

They both chuckled, "Alright, just take care and drive safely, alright?" My mom said and I nod.

"I will also gonna go visit Eunbi." When I mentioned Eunbi their expression changed, I wonder why. I didn't mind it anyway and just leave the house after.

I decided to visit my friends since Eunbi wasn't replying on my messages since I landed here in Korea, I was heading to Jimin's house. I texted Jimin and asked him how are they, He told me that they were doing fine and will have a small gathering with their friends at his house. Maybe Eunbi will be there, I hope so.

I hopped inside my car and started the engine, drove to Jimin's house. I was excited to see them once again after three months, We barely talk online when I was at the other country, I explained why and they understand.
