Its been a week since the odd incident with Paul but Aiden's mind continues to go back to that moment. He hasn't seen him since that day - nor the rest of the pack besides Seth and Leah at home - due to their currently busy schedule. He also hasn't dared to ask Seth what happened, too nervous he might be overstepping into something private.
But maybe if someone else could give him a perfect chance to bring it up...If only to finally appease his curious mind.
Aiden has no plans today, it's Saturday morning and the Cullens are going out for dinner for the day and probably for the rest of the weekend, which leaves him to his own devices for the first time this week.
He doesn't really have much to do: he helps Sue with chores and does his laundry, he sits outside to read for a while then scrolls through his phone and soon realizes he's absolutely bored. What's there to do in life when all of your supernatural friends are busy?
He finally decides on going out for a walk but before he even makes it out the door, a text from Seth saves him from his boredom.

Aiden parks his car - a welcome gift from Alice and Emmett that almost had Aiden breaking down into tears because he couldn't convince them it was too much, and he would've been fine with just a welcome card - at Jacobs driveway and before he can even get out, he is flocked by a group of shirtless teen wolves at his car door. Every boys dream.
"Hey guys!" he greets as he climbs out of his car, big smile on his face.
Seth, Quil, and Embry step away to give him space, equally big smiles on their faces.
"Aiden we've missed you!"
"I missed you more!"
"I missed you the most!"
Seth snorts and rolls his eyes playfully at the others and beams when Aiden giggles at their antics. He moves to stand beside the smaller boy, "really, they have missed you. Especially Jacob, he's been too busy though." Seth explains. Aiden nods, he knows they work hard everyday and don't always have time to fool around and relax, Jacob tries to keep in touch as often as he can during the day though, which is enough for Aiden.
The five of them make their way to the beach, the rest of the pack is already there setting up the fire and food, Seth informs him. The boys are loud and fool around the whole way there, as they usually do like the overgrown puppies they are. It's only when they've almost reached the beach that Aiden realizes Paul will probably be there. The realization makes Aiden's heart rate pick up.
Seth must pick up on his sudden tense silence because he turns to look at him with a raised eyebrow and a worried tone, "You okay? Your face is a bit pink."
Which, of course, only makes him get pinker. Great.
"Yeah I'm fine!" He replies a little too quickly and a bit too cheerful to be believable but Seth seems to buy it.
They finally reach the beach, Aiden's nerves have managed to catch up to him by now and the butterflies in his stomach seem to have multiplied. He isn't at all sure what to expect from Paul, or maybe he's expecting too much by expecting anything in the first place. What if he ruins Paul's evening again by showing up? But no, he still isn't even sure he was the reason Paul stormed off that night. Ugh, his brain is a mess and his heart seems to be in worse conditions - maybe he should've stayed home.
