Dar's POV
I was in my Forrest home when Yara came to visit Tao was busy off in the uplands teaching about the ways of his people The Eirons.
She saw me, Iara I said she was by my side in a flash, She Wrapped her arms around me and said I've wanted to see you for the longest time.
I said you love me don't you? She gave me a small hiss and tucked my hair behind my ear and said yeah, I do. She laced her fingers between mine and I let her.
I said you know this is forbidden right? She looked at me with an intense gaze in her eyes, she said Yeah I do why? No reason. She tucked my long hair behind my ear and gave me a kiss. She said come with me beneath the waters at the full moon, i want to get you something.
I kissed her deeply and said I'll see you before the moon rises. I will I replied, I gave her a kiss and said I'll see you soon, She Yearned for me. She grabbed my hair and said wait take this, she handed me her snake ring as a gift. I wore it with pride and kissed her again i said Yara i can't stay tonight as i peppered her with kisses, kissing her nose her lips and softly nibbling on her neck. I then touched one last kiss to her lips and she said I'll be waiting as i watched her sink back into the deep waters she came out of.
I thought about her until first light, I couldn't believe this was real, I'm in love with a demon. I knew contact between mortals and immortals was wrong but i didn't give a shit. She was who I wanted regardless of the rules.
Tao walked up to me and said You love her don't you? I blushed yeah I do i replied, he said you know that's against the rules right? I looked at him and said I understand but who cares. He said Loving a demon, The Beastmaster, my best friend Dar, Unheard of news. He smiled at me and said lets go visit Xinca i want to go home for a while.
We Headed off to Xinca at First light.
